Opening day at Blakemere for the Christmas Season
Our 64 foot long model railway featuring Watford Junction is open for the public to drive.
Notable highlights from the first day’s running include:
• Trains ran well and without the usual bedding in complications.
• The event was well attended.
• Pete didn’t shout (too much).
• The new scenery was quite stunning.
• The kids (young and older) seemed to really enjoy the event.
• Trains covered over 13 ½ miles today (actual miles not scale).
