I agree on pricing. I have been doing this for 23 years. Have been solo since 2010. Most of my customers are retired, widowed, or of limited incomes. I charge enough to make a profit and enjoy what I do, so everybody is happy.
Loving my scag here in Georgia where I mainly cut Bermuda and Soysia grass, I truly agree with you and you got some balls cutting short sleeve and shorts !
Any chance you could do a review/walk around on the SWZT? Strongly considering purchasing the 36 in the next few weeks. Also, could you talk about it’s price and if you felt it was overpriced/ worth it? Thanks, great content.
Yeah I'm on the opposite side of the fence. While I don't consider myself brand loyal per say I have mainly run Echos. The blower is amazing, my 2620 Trimmer on the other hand has left a bad taste in my mouth with it's excessive vibrations. If Echo doesn't figure that out I'll be giving Stihl a try.
Thank you for the kind words Justin. So far the SWZT has been good to me. I miss the efficiency of the standers but walking properties certainly isn't going to hurt me.
@@LaidBackLawnCare I've been looking into a couple standers down the line in the future. Have some leg issues so walking does hurt me. I was limited to 4-5 properties every other day last season. Used a walk behind with a cart and thinking that might be the way I have to go since I'll be able to get that amount likely long before I'll have enough for a stander. Unless I get lucky and find a Craigslist deal like my rider. 42" is just too big for 95% of the properties I had last year. Looking at a few 32"s just to start forming opinions haha. Thanks again man
@@JustinJoyinglife the thing I would watch out for with 32 and 36" steamers is tire size. For my weight, machine weight and soul composition I found them to be to have to avoid working over time even when trying to change mowibg patterns. You can't beat the efficiency of a 48 or larger stander but for anything smaller you might be on the right track using a walk being and a velke. Maybe in time they will start putting bigger tires on the smaller steamers to address compacting.
@@LaidBackLawnCare 36s are actually too big for most of the gates in my target city also. I'd love to pick up properties that would justify a larger machine, but since I strictly do residential it'd only benefit like 3 properties I service and my 42 works great. Paid 50 bucks for it on Craigslist not working. It's an old school zero turn but she does pretty good considering.
I don't like it when people exaggerate just for the sake of being heard. Having used the PB-770 I would say this thing is a solid purchase. I wish it was a little cheaper but it makes jobs so much easier because of that wall of air you get moving everything. Grass clippings also tend to be dispersed really well into yards because it carries everything so far and so high they spread out well. I'll do a more in-depth review and shoot some video of it on jobs as I get more time with it. If you have the cash and are on the fence like I was then I wouldn't hesitate.

I'll try to do that tomorrow.
I tried out one of those 8010s. I liked it.....even though I'm a Stihl guy. Less is more for sure man!
