    I appreciate the way you encourage the youth.!
    And how you lead by example.💯
    If it weren’t for those qualities, this would just be another welding channel.
    Thanks for good content and values..
    👍🏼💯🙏🏼✌🏼

      Thank you. There are a lot of things far more important than welding. Teaching the youth of the world to be responsible, respectful, upstanding human beings is one of them. I take it seriously because I’m a Dad myself and I know how important it is. I’m not saying I’m the master of any of those things, but I am saying it is important to me. If I can help maybe even one of our youth better themselves, then I would feel like I’ve done some good. Thanks for your encouraging comments, and thanks for watching!

    That bead on that lock pocket is one of the best stick beads I have ever seen.

    Dual shield is so freakin handy, I can cover a lot of ground really fast compared to stick. I use it as much as possible.

      @@josh27833 As for right now, I really just enjoy it being a part time job. I have a great full-time job that most people would kill for. It’s hard to walk away from the retirement. I love having a separate income that helps grease the wheels of life. I don’t know what the future holds, but as for right now, I will continue to work 2 jobs. Thanks for watching!

    Noob question when you say dual shield are you talking a mixed gas or gas and flux core?

    • @Freedomfabrication777
      @Freedomfabrication777  4 місяці тому +1

      It’s referred to as dual shield because you are using 2 forms of shielding- Gas, and flux cored wire. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

    I would think doing different projects like this makes it difficult to quote a price because you are not sure what it encompasses until you start. If it was something you had done a few times it would make it easier.

      That’s true. Luckily with this customer it was easy because I was able to just keep track of materials purchased, and hours worked and then I just billed the customer at the end. Thanks for watching!

    Awesome video Bud! I have watched and learned something from every one of your videos! Thanks for sharing the skill of craft! Had a question why did you prefer the cutting torch over your plasma cutter for cutting the holes for the container mounts? Not criticizing just for my refrence..

    • @Freedomfabrication777
      @Freedomfabrication777  4 місяці тому +1

      I decided to go with a torch because I feel like i have better control with a regular torch. Sometimes when running a plasma, the high air pressure can make things difficult to follow a steady, accurate line. Just preference that’s all. Thanks for watching!
