There are so many reasons Georgetown in Washington DC is the most well-known neighborhood in our Nation’s Capital. It might be because there are so many famous people who have lived in the East Village or West Village of Georgetown like Julia Childs, Francis Scott Key, Katherine Graham, The Kennedys, Alexander Graham Bell and so many more.
