Poland stage of NATO Exercise Steadfast Defender 24 continues on its second day

  • Within the scope of NATO's Steadfast Defender 24 Exercise, DRAGON-24 military defense exercise was held in Korzeniewo region of Poland within the scope of the exercises to be held mainly in Central Europe. Approximately 90,000 soldiers from all NATO countries as well as Sweden are participating in the drills. During the exercise, soldiers crossed the Vistula River with a movable bridge that can carry tanks. Polish President Andrzej Duda and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda were briefed about the military equipment in the field with NATO troops during the exercises. Duda and Nauseda held a joint press conference after their inspection at the exercise site.
