Great job on the video! Your clear explanation and hands-on approach make it easy to follow along. Can't wait to try out IBCS-styled charts in my reports!
Great Video, As it's been a while since the video was released I doubt that my comment will have much impact but if it can be of use to anyone, By putting "Max value" in the second position of the Y Axis we can reduce the Space between categories to 25% for a better distinction between categories and deltas. 👋😊
Thank you! I quite like the build process and the showcasing of different features and how you can use them in combination to achieve situation-specific results.
@PowerBIPark thanks for sharing this awesome chart !!! I hope you can share a lot more of this... 😊 I did follow the steps, but I have a question: in my chart, if did select just one MONTH in the segmentation visual, the last [max value], December, keeps on display alone (in red)... I note you use another kind of data for the segmentation, it's a Calendar table ?
Hi Rodney, so I don't do anything additional here in the tutorial, but in one of the versions you see (the first and last example), there is a calendar table used to connect to the data :) PErsonally I don't see this issue, when I use a month slicer, it acts for me as expected. Hope that helps somehow :)
The new measures do not show up only an entry with "DeltaPY" with exclamation > error The value for FC can not be determined. Either the column does not exist or there is no current row for this column.
Thanks! So basically if you use emojis, you can use a white circle, or if you use a geometric shape, it can also be a circle 😁 I do show it in my other video but don't have a link rn (from phone)
Good video, thank you. I think you can optimize your model if you make addition transformation on PQ side. I would suggest to unpivot other columns than MonthNumber and Month.
@@PowerBIPark Sorry if i was not clear on my question, is there a way to see data label of var $ and % together? Example: $115k, +50% at the top of each bar
@@mohammedjaveed8643 absolutely, you just need to use "values" and "details". I do show this in my other videos: ua-cam.com/video/00Q6o0tddd0/v-deo.htmlsi=YaE4iUAW8TckruBJ&t=514
So great video 👏. Could you please do another example where we would have to compare more than 2 series on each month (example : AC vs PY vs Budget) ?I’m stuck on that 😢
Hey, so it's quite easy- just make the name of the measure to be a space bar, so like " ". Then you can also make the icon of the py show up by using the windows key + semicolon, and select geometric symbols to get an empty circle 😁
Hi, I had an idea to make a of my pbix for Patreon supporters - but I still haven't got around to it. Most of the code I have freely available for you anyway 😁
Great video! Please do more IBCS tutorials as they become available in the native visuals. They are highly appreciated
Thanks, I'm thinking of showing the variance in a line with its own errors, but we'll see how the week looks 😁
Great video bro, I really appreciate if you continue showing this kind of topics about how to incorporate IBCS to the visualization
Thanks for sharing. If the multiline label option is available, we can show both: absolute and relative values. Nice job Park!
It's a valid point, I think you won't be disappointed to see me use multiline values in the next video 😁

Like a good Power BI report, your videos are always clear and concise. Thank you!
Glad you like them!

Glad you like it! That's the style I'm trying to incorporate into my videos :)
Nice Injae, I hadn't realised you could set a different label for a column (when you show the variance for the Max Value)
Thanks Wyn! There's a couple different ways to do this apparently, but I think this is the easiest approach 😁
Great tutorial thank you very much!
Your video is too good and helpful 👏
Very useful insights. Thanks a lot
Fantastic video... Injae is a star⭐
Amazing tutorial thank you !!
Super awesome !!! Thank You..
Thanks for the feedback 😁
What did you do to disappear max value in the legends ?
Great stuff!
Great video. Thanks
is there a tutorial two create a double bar column stacked and clusterd bar ? I found others but not as clear as this one
great, thank you for sharing
Great video, but why am I not seeing the error bar option in my visual format
@PowerBIPark thanks for sharing this awesome chart !!!

I couldn't test yet using a calendar table, I'm in trouble now.
I promise to test it and share it here if it works.
Cheers
Awesome thank you for the video.
Fantastic
Great video! good explanation.. I can't able to find the error bars please to help me out
how did you hide the "max value" in the legend at the end?
Replace the value name with a space! 😅
@@PowerBIPark thanks! Next question, how do you then create black border around the Past Year circle in legend?
If you're on PC, hit windows and semicolon, it should open up emojis and special characters. Use the empty circle in the name of the measure😁
The new measures do not show up only an entry with "DeltaPY" with exclamation > error The value for FC can not be determined. Either the column does not exist or there is no current row for this column.
Did you make sure the data headers are properly set? Looks like that could be the issue
I don`t see the error bars section in Format Visual. Is there a way to enable it?
It might be you have a previous version of power bi, make sure you have 2024 February version
Had to restart my system and now I see it. Thanks for your reply@@PowerBIPark
great video! how did you get the white legend symbol for past year to show a border instead of white?
Thanks! So basically if you use emojis, you can use a white circle, or if you use a geometric shape, it can also be a circle 😁 I do show it in my other video but don't have a link rn (from phone)
@@PowerBIPark thank you so much!
Great video!
How could you end up excluding from the legend the 'Max value' measure and the circle around the white color at the end of the video?
Part of the awnser : To remove the measure 'Max value' from the legend we can name it only by a space!:)
Hey, can anyone help me understand how to enable this "Update model: Add new measure"? I don't have it when I navigate to the DAX Query View.
Hey are you still struggling with this? I've heard some people had to update their desktop and restart the whole pc, but hopefully it shows up for you
Thanks a lot! I have had to update and restart for it to show! Thanks a million for following up! Much appreciated:)
Hey I'm glad you got it to work :)@@irienoma
This was very interesting!
more! more! 👏👏👏
check my most recent videos that go a lot into depth with IBCS and native visuals :)
Good video, thank you. I think you can optimize your model if you make addition transformation on PQ side. I would suggest to unpivot other columns than MonthNumber and Month.
Thanks! This is a tiny dataset to show the visuals so it's not really relevant here, but I appreciate the comment
Thanks for the Great Video. A better alternative to some third party visuals.
Glad you liked it!
Silly sort of question: are these features available in the horizontal clustered bar chart?
Sorry I have no idea what the cluster4med chart is
@PowerBIPark apologies for the typos--I am inquiring about the horizontal clustered bar chart--the horizontal version of the bar chart depicted here.
I have a video on the clustered bar chart in the channel 😊
very good video thank you
Great video again - is there a way to see variance of $ and % together?
Hey, thanks! I think if you want to see them together the best thing is to check my latest video where I show you how to do just that 😁

I really recommend looking for Reid Haven's, he has a video that uses line charts to show it 😁
Amazing
How about horizontal bar chart
Check out my latest videos, I have a tutorial already 😁
Hi Injae,
How are you making dissapear the MaxValue from the legend?
I love your content man!! you are the best

Never mind, I figured out. just renaming the measure by spacebar character :)
Thanks for such a great video . It would be great if you could share this Sample PIBIX file where you have implemented this ?

nice
Everything worked fine until i started switching to previous years all my red FC bars won't disappear... Anyone else with this problem?
Thats nice, but tbh I have never worked on an projects where BU would say "Lets go with IBCS styled visuals"
I hear you, but it's the business' job to know what they want, it's our job to advise them
