Man, you missed a PRIME opportunity to recreate the scene of Optimus riding grimlock. I know it probably would've tipped over but hey, would've been nice to see.

To be fair, the "backpack" on Prime would've made it difficult to recreate. Not because of screen inaccuracy, but it would make it hard for Optimus to sit on Grimlock's back. If he had Calibur Optimus Prime, that might actually work.

How 2 paint this thing.
Step 1: Get liquid or spray paint in chrome.
Step 2: For liquid paint take the jar or whatever, dump all of it on this or dump just enough.
Step 3: For spray paint just spray it on every part of this.

I've custom-painted some big Transformers figures before (mostly Megatrons due to the fact that they have that ugly light grey coloring) and have given them a nice metalesque finish with silver paint and they look great. It's not too hard to do that, just spraypaint him in black, and then use silver, gold, or any other colors of your desire and take a brush, dip it in the paint and then smudge the brush on a napkin so that it's not glopping wet and just wisk it by the toy in light strokes and you'll start to see a nice metal finish appear before your eyes. It really brings out the realistic screen-accurate look in them. If I can find one of these and afford it I'd love to try that again, I haven't custom-painted a Transformer in so long!

Samuel Doll Well the normal leader is more like $50 at least where I live though the price for the KO does sound ridiculously cheap. It's not on Ebay sadly and the site Emgo got this from looks a bit sketchy...
***** sirtoys is a good site. i've bought from them many times and have had no problems. I actually got a figure missing a part, emailed them, they apologized and sent it right to me. they're good peoples who do good business.

Because this is a KO it reminds me that my dad once bought me a transformer that I had wanted and he was sooo excited to give it to me and when I saw it I knew it was a KO but I couldn't brake it to him. That figure, even though is a KO version, is one of my favorite transformer I own :D Also KO grimlock is awesome!

You can rotate the dino head 180 before tabbing it on the back, avoid collapsing the jaws and display him with two roaring rex heads as mini wings.
I don't like the way that looks. I prefer the proper transformation
I didn't particularly mind the color schemes of the majority of the toys made of the movie Dinobots. I like to think the colors of the toys represent how they looked before they were captured by Lockdown, and that their appearance in the movie was due to degrading and oxidizing after being trapped on his ship all this time.

They also have the other 3 dinobots shown in the TF AOE movie, done in oversize, I think they are in voyager or ultra class, which scale very nicely with the leader class grimlock and the other voyager/deluxe autobots/decepticons.
It seems like Stomp and Chomp Grimlock would be an appropriate comparison. Although this is what we should've gotten instead of it

While I really dislike the proportions of the leader grimlock, I will say that the knock off's paint scheme really helps hide this issue extremely well

Diesel resize transformers are awesome they're in scale with the section speakers so you could actually do a GI Joe transformer crossover be pretty awesome or you can even use the three and a half and it would still be cool
I got the Grimlock! Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I found out that the Dino foot broke off! I was ticked! I spent almost $200 getting this toy!

Scaling with leader prime works well if this grimlock would be iin movie colors
I really like that they went with the first pictures of the leader class colors for this figure. I was going to get the leader grimlock despite all the crap people were giving it but it was the crappy chrome, brown, orange, and yellow color scheme they gave it that really turned me off from it. I might get this just because I wanted the leader but it was too damn ugly to buy. Plus bigger is better when it comes to grimlock :D

Change this up and make it look greenish rust looking and get the voyager Prime from TLK and put Optimus on Grimlock so its full on size accurate from Age of Extinction.
