I'll give you an adult client of a vocal coach side...I get frustrated myself because I'm trying so hard to remember the words as I'm slightly nervous and trying so hard to sound good etc and mine interrupts with modifications as well. Funny thing is when I listen back to the recording - she got me to do something I didn't think or even imagine my voice could do 🤣 The stopping and starting may be annoying at times but it's worth it. The vocal coach knows their craft 🙂

Wow... I can feel the change of energy in the words go from hard singing words to a softer tone. The song she was singing brought a more heartfelt feeling once she shifted the energy.

It's great how much feedback you give to your students to improve. This makes such a difference to their progress. I had a teacher that didn't give much feedback versus another teacher that did and it was amazing how much I progressed!
