Incidentally, I saw Sacred Reich play a concert in Ljubljana (Slovenia) a few days ago.
They played Death Squad, of course.
i was there and Sacred Reich also played a year later there with Sepultura and death Angel ( and a few more )
I'm not sure how or why, but this is the first time I've heard a Sacred Reich song. Really weird since I was a huge fan of thrash metal in the 80s. I would have loved this back in the day.

The intro to Death Squad is one of the best/heaviest riffs of any metal band of any period, ever.
I saw them in Toronto at the silver dollar in 1988 , we were about 30-40 people , it was amazing. We were like 6 feet from the band...
I was there in 89; absolutely awesome gig, absolutely awesome festival. I think SR released an EP with recordings from that gig. Think it was this year I got whiplash by being right up against the barrier when Toxik played. Worth it too
I was there in '89 and it was awesome on the small ice skating ring in Eindhoven centre. The guys were playing one of their first big festivals and they loved it. They have been back in Eindhoven many occasions still referring to this day

Sacred Reich is one of the best thrash metal bands in history! They also have great logos, t-shirts and album covers. So happy they are back! Great reaction guys (y)
Dynamo Open Air was a fantastic festival held in the Netherlands. I was lucky to catch the last ones in 98 and 99. Great atmosphere and bands that played there.
Now that you guys cover a dinosauric song and preformance it is time to pick up one of the newer songs.
This is actually one my favorite metal songs of all time... you have to check out the wacken 07 death squad performance... is mind-blowing!!!

Dynamo is in the Netherlands, so not even close Pedro to Russia...been to that festival from 1994 onward so I'm quite familiar with said festival. Saw Sacred reich there in 1996 so Phil was not skinny like here anymore.

Dynamo open air when the entrance fee was a Guilder (approx. 0,5 Euro) for a whole day's festival, how things have changed :-)

Cool Sacred Reich!! I have my SR shirt for almost 30 years now. Check out Dog eat Dogs performance at Dynamo festival. No Kid or Who's the King. That year 120.000 people came to the festival.
Their debut album is a classic masterpiece...\m/
I still have Sacred Reichs first vinyls in my closet. I feel old now.
The song is quite honestly a hybrid of sodom, slayer and exodus
