  • For this weeks video, I open up and review the new Nylint Toys Rain Van. This truck has some great details and feels very good quality and durable. I show both the Sunshine and Rain together in this video, and check out the opening side and rear door features that Rain has. I love the classic Ford Econoline style that Nylint has brought back, and I think collectors and kids will love the new generation of Nylint Toys. If you haven’t yet please go watch last weeks video where I review the new Nylint sunshine, and compare it to the original 1960’s Nylint Econoline pickup.

Before I came across your review I just recently ordered the bundle. As a kid I once had the original pickup, wish I still had it! Of course, everyone will wish these were made in U.S.A. But it's probably prohibitively expensive, so I can understand why they had to be made in China, still appear to be nice though. I wish her the best and hope she is successful in reestablishing Nylint. I want to thank you for taking the time to do this review. Now I know what to look forward to when I get my Sunshine, Rain and book! THANK YOU!

Thanks for the positive comment, glad you liked the review. These are very nice quality toys for the price they are currently at, and I also hope they will be able to continue to make these new Nylints and bring them back to Rockford Illinois as they originated.

A little late to the party here, somehow stumbled upon this after continuously seeing ads about the new Nylint return. I wasn't entirely sure about picking these both up but this video definitely changed my opinion on them. Only issue is that I really need more space for everything I keep buying...
Anyway, great review, subbed and will definitely check out the rest of your channel!

    GREAT VIDEO.
I'm glad that Nylint is back but I think there is a problem, if you were to pay more than $60 for a model like this it must be %100, made in the USA, not in China, a model that if you want to do parts and repaint it however you want, second I think they should have surveyed what they would like to see the most, they should have used the same molds with some difference when compared to the old ones, it seems and forgive me for saying so looks like A CHEAP COPY MADE IN CHINA,
THEY MUST USE THE ORIGINAL MOLDS, IN THE WAY AS THEY WERE MADE IN THE PAST, MAKE THEM AT HOME, START MAKING THEM BY ORDERS OR A "LIMITED" LISTED, THE SAND BUGGY, PICK UPS, JEEP, WRECKER, FARM TRUCKS, etc,
COLLECTORS WILL APPRECIATE IT, THEY SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE SINCE TONKA IS NOT THE SAME, IT IS MORE PLASTIC THAN PRESSED STEEL TOYS.

I do agree with you, but unfortunately for a mass produced toy it is very hard and expensive to make them in the USA anymore.

Why is it more expensive?! We used to manufacture everything in the USA ! I don't get it??

Don’t ask me, ask the United States government. They have made it where it would cost way too much anymore to do anything here, that’s why everyone makes their stuff in China if you haven’t realized. The labor costs are near to none, you can open a factory for way cheaper, and there is practically no emission laws.

Hi friend. Enjoyed the video. Do you think these are a good investment? I collect the 1960's. And why are the Rains rear doors tweaked/misaligned? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for watching! I don’t really think these will be as big of a investment in the future like the The 1960’s models are, but these are limited and won’t be made again. The owner is looking at options for them to be made back in the USA. Concerning the doors, I think some are better than others due to quality issues from being made in China.
