This isn't S/V related, but I still wanted to leave this here: I've been having a debate on if anything bad would happen if a I upgrade my basic pokemon Home plan to the premium version lately. I doubt I'll get a response, seeing that this video is a couple months old, but it's worth a shot to hear back from someone who'd actually be knowledgeable in something like this. Reason I'm afraid to upgrade: I don't do this anymore, but back in the 3ds days, I used an action replay to get past mystery gifts for a few of the more difficult mythicals to obtain. Along with like 3-5 "custom shinies" that I had forgotten to take the mystery gift ribbon off of. I had them sitting in a couple boxes in Home. Long story short, it's been a few years since I've touched Home, so I'm sitting on the basic plan. Yes, you can host these. (union circles). But modding the game data online will send flags to Nintendo. and no, you won't get banned immediately. it took 4 months for someone. the tera raids are more of a flag lol. generating pokemon won't get you banned if they are legal, as kev said. And also, there are two types of bans. a console ban and a profile ban. console bans make it so where you can't go online AT ALL on the switch that it was banned on. profile bans are arguably worse, as they restrict the profile on all devices. You won't just get banned in one game, unless it's Fortnite or something. it's either console, or profile. (Pin if you think this is helpful)

Someone gave me a shiny rayquaza through trade in scarlet. Everything looks good to me but I can't put it into pokémon home. Anyone know what that could mean?
Check it's summary if its an egg and it says, "I first met it when it hatched from an egg, I'd received the egg on mm/dd/yyyy from a surprise trade." It was a genned pokemon more than likely. If it was a shiny when you hatched it and has 100% IVs, then you have either been blessed or it was a genned giveaway pokemon. I hope that helps
Pkhex is still cheating. You had to go out of your way to make it shiny, 6iv, and also Moon ball(while possible, likely to be a long time since Paradox pokemon are hard to catch.) Also in Gen 9, none of the paradox pokemon and Gholdengo can be 6iv at all.

@@YoKevdogso if you Can help me bcs im Lost and i want to Host some raids too 😭
I’ve had a Pokémon shiny that has a website on it is that a hack Pokémon
i have a perfect iv shiny rayquaza from a link trade and i put it on pokemon home and it seems to be genned not sure if genned pokemon make the pokemon have a bunch of ribbons (like my case)
Nice video! Thanks for giving facts! Not opinions!
That mega Salamance is an iron hands?!?
You only get banned if you mod your switch and the only genned Pokemon that can get you into trouble are unreleased shinies.
But I still wouldn't use them in ranked you can use them in any other mode cuz that doesn't affect someone's actual gameplay in a negative way I don't think anyone cares about genned mons helping in raids especially with the new Mewtwo one geeeeeeez..😂😂😂😂😂
Mewtwo was in a raid last year.
Hey, what are the benefits of a hacked switch? I might look into doing that with my own switch.
You can hack your games and download them for free
Hi
Hi
Hi
Hi
Hi
When you make a new link code cud it be past and future shiny pokemon pls ( my brothers idea)?
and yet the can not trade this pokemon desnt work with hacked shinys from websites trust me i get over 3 hacked shinys a day and it annoys me sometimes why people cheat for shinys dont know if you call it something else but thats what i call it
I have hacked pokemon like Mewtwo and mew and iron leaves hoopa walking wake meloetta chi yu
No different if you cheat on Pokémon go you can only get 3 strikes they ban you permanently
Thank u for confirming it cause I joined give aways from the union thing I thought I was gonna get banned I just wanted to keep them but now I can still keep them
Yeah those channels are bad.
Im afraid to grab a shiny miraidon /koraidon or the other unreleased legends from takemi tv its hella tempting and ithought i was the only one wondering if i can get banned for having them in your party 😭 but now i know dont use them for tera raids
Did you do it?
I actually just did that with shiny Meloetta, Hoopa, and Magearna from that exact channel. I had each of the shiny locked Pokémon in my party and nothing has happened yet.
I am a lil nervous something might happen tho
@@slashsillydid something happen?
@@MorenoGawd Nahhh I’m still kicking lol. No problems, thank god
When are you gonna do another tiktok giveaway?
Someone gave me a shiny rayquaza through trade in scarlet. Everything looks good to me but I can't put it into pokémon home. Anyone know what that could mean?
it might be genned
How is there so many shinies
I was just playing xenoverse2 and checked my phone to see this also I joined today hi
What platform do you play on?
Edit:
'Xenoverse 2', I mean - what platform do you play on?
Too KevDog I got your miraidon
Pourquoi mon échange pokémon et toujours annulé ?
Kinda mad tho , defeats the purpose of gettin the shiny unreleased mons if you cant even flex in raids 😪
W video as always kev!
has this game been out long enough for it to be an "age old question"?
Nah, I mainly meant how since the 3ds games, people have been asking this same questiob
this game in particular no. but the genned mon question has been relevant for ages.
Welp I didn't expect to see this video today 😂
The other day I was in the surprise trade and came a shiny 100% ivs. Was it one of those?
Check it's summary if its an egg and it says, "I first met it when it hatched from an egg, I'd received the egg on mm/dd/yyyy from a surprise trade." It was a genned pokemon more than likely. If it was a shiny when you hatched it and has 100% IVs, then you have either been blessed or it was a genned giveaway pokemon. I hope that helps
As KevDog's Brazilian Member all i can say is: He is 100% right here.
Thanks for the shiny Decidueye from the Home GTS!
First 5 mins he alr got a new sub
Still think you should get banned for catching pokemon in a hacked circle.
I agree
OH NO
