Seeing you enjoy the dinner cruise was great, a good mate and I spent 5 nights on Cape Adieu in 2015 for a mothership fishing charter, was awesome, I caught 2 Barramundi over 1 mtr long amongst all sorts of other fish. So glad you’re well Paul, it’s so frightening! I was in Katie’s shoes in January with my partner Andrew going through similar to you. I had to drive Andrew to the hospital in a hurry too and we also can’t fault how well the hospital looked after him. Stay well Paul, keep fighting fit. Katie and jasper need you most but we all need our favourite travelling family too 💕 I also hope Katie and Jasper are ok after that scare. ❤
Desmond here great to see you back on deck Paul well our group arrive in Darwin went in the dinner cruise the sunset was impressive the food was great had croc meat seafood salads wine beer all sorts of food brought a cap a keyring pen and a fridge magnet went to the night markets honestly I was not impress that's my personal view seeing the sunset on the cruise was very impressive went to a ichi izakaya Japanese restaurant gave the waitress a 20 dollar tip she was very happy lovely service she was great great food spent my 2,500 spending money on the optional tours souvenirs food drinks etc the highlights of the tour touching the rock getting close to the Crocs the sunset seeing a dingo going up in the winged plane going up in the helicopter with a 18yr old lady pilot the dinner cruise seeing a long haul cattle truck going up in the air balloon the fields of lights a must see outstanding I have souvenirs from the air balloon a cap a shirt seeing flying doctors school where they broadcast all over Australia I gave them a 20.00 dollar donation got a cookery book for my self donated 2 books to the school wish them all the best and study hard got the cookery book for 10.00 dollars because I gave them a 20.00 dollar donation love the underground hotel at Tennant everyone who passes there must stay a night or two amazing place

Great episode . We lived in Darwin in 1970 to 1972 ……….so different now although we have been several times since the 70’s . A fabulous place to live and visit.

Hi Paul ,Katie & Jasper, We stayed at the Discover park last July & the show was on , it made the park a little noisy during the day. We went to most of the 10 recommended places, and we couldn't get over how cosmopolitan Darwin was. The aviation museum near Discovery was well worth visiting also. Safe travels.
We were booked to fly over to Darwin, spend a week there, and then take the Ghan to Adelaide and do a Heap of stuff after that, but covid got in the way (2020). Your episode tonight has just put that back on the radar. Cheers guys. 😊

Great to see you back on deck paul. Darwin is a great spot to visit but awful in the wet season. Theres humid and then theres darwin humid
