You have to be careful with feeding Labs. They have great appitites (being working dogs), but they will really pack on the pounds later in life if they don't get enough exercise. We have several older ones in our neighborhood that are way overweight. I feel sorry for them because I know it's cutting their lives short. I know it's hard to say no to those big brown eyes, but for the health of the dog, it's sometimes necessary!
