Enjoyed your video. I ran into the same problem when researching a battery monitor for my 22 foot tow behind. I didn't find any videos showing a standard travel trailer with the batteries in plastic battery boxes installed on the tongue like our trailers. All the other videos had battery cabinets in their coach that I saw. I was in a conundrum wondering where to install the shunt. Thanks for the video. I learned alot!

The reason why you need this is so you don’t go through batteries too much because you drain them to the point where they won’t charge anymore
if you're doing this install by trailer lighting wire it comes in a four conductors they're different colors
