Hi friends. As most of you know that have been with me for a bit, it is truly one of my favorite things to be able to chat with you here in the comments. But my oldest son was injured and now the doctor is telling him that he has to have his back operated on. The operation is scheduled for Monday. So needless to say, there is a bit of stress at home right now. I want you all to know that I appreciate your comments so very much, however, I might not be able to respond as much as I would like. I really appreciate your understanding & I'm sending you all my love & have a great weekend!
So sorry about your son having to go "under the knife"! Very traumatic and stressful for the whole family. I'll be thinking of u - your son will be in my prayers. G-d Bless
Hi Melissa. I have solely been using the e.l.f. skin products for about 3 months now. My face has never looked better. I highly recommend their products to anyone on a strict budget. Everyone tells me I look I have gotten younger because of the quality of my skin. It goes to show that you don't have to spend a lot of money to get great skin care. I hope your son does well with the surgery. He is in my prayers!
I’m still hooked on that Sukoyaka Suhada too! 😃 Thank you for collaborating with me! I just love both you and Melanie and I’m thankful for your friendship 💜💜💜
Without the basics, there is no skincare! You are just such an inspiration. With all you have going on, I don't know how you always have a huge smile on your face and you put out such great content! Luv ya dear!!! ♥️😘
Hi Melissa. Great tips for those thinking about a good skincare routine - which should always start with the basics. I have really dry/thirsty skin with both rosacea and eczema, so I too need something very rich at night. The sukoyaka suhada is almost impossible to get in the UK, but I use a body cream at night on my face/neck/chest. I'm currently using the La roche Posey lipikar balm (which it does say on the tube can be used on the face) as it is very occlusive, but still contains niacinamide and ceramides. I can't use cereve as it stings (apart from the hydrating cleanser) and pretty much every facial cream is too lightweight - even those targeted at dry/atopic skin. A bonus is you get a large size for a similar price as the facial 50mls cream, so even applied liberally it lasts ages. I'm a bit of a skincare junkie so I layer up multiple other hydrators, but i need to lock those other ingredients in. I already watch both Penny and Melanie so I'll catch their videos too. Best wishes.
What a wonderful collab! Super excited to see all 3 of you ladies skin care videos! Thank you for great product recommendations...I LOVE the Hada Labo Cleansing oil ❤️❤️❤️
I love the kRohto Mentholatum - Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Lotion in Moist, [White bottle NOT red] Dr Dray 'turned me on' to it & 2 drops does my face & neck & 1 does my Decolletage! It's so nice on a wet/damp face after cleansing! I am going to order the other 2 products you mention! I LOVE your choice of SPF! I actually use it as my foundation & over an Equate brand daily moisturizer [very dewy/greasy looking but good] The AG Matte Med tint cancels out the shine & I end up with a perfect [4me] face to start my routine with.❤️
Hi Kat, thanks so much for sharing about the Hyaluronic acid! I have had that in the past & really liked it a lot. I get to testing so many products that I can forget what I love! Thank you for reminding me! xoxo
Love your quips. Ha. They make smile and want to click so fast to see them. You look so pretty in purple. Wow love it. I haven’t seen her at all. I’ll have to check them both out. I do need a good skin care
I've recently tried using a Glycolic acid cleanser on my oily skin. I found Neutrogena brand at Walmart. I wish I knew about this stuff when I was younger and struggled with my oily skin! It's really a game changer for me! I see that Neutrogena also makes a Glycolic acid toner, I'm trying that next! Love the tutorials you have on skin care/ cleansing products and how you explain to us how they work. Thank you! I wouldn't know where to begin if it wasn't for you and all your advice!
Hi Ingrid. I love hearing that the videos are helpful to you! That's wonderful! I love glycolic acid for sure, its a wonderful ingredient for older skin. There are so many companies that use it now! You should try the Ordinary Glycolic toner. They sell it at Ulta. I think they might be out right now, but it's definitely my favorite. Hope you have a terrific week my friend. We just had our CO's visit & it was wonderful!
Came over to have a look on the recommendation from Penn! I have mature skin, so look forward to following you. You mentioned menopause and sweating. I was able to make that go away with a daily combination of one 300 mg capsule of St. John's Wort and two of the Red Maca Root capsules by the Maca Team. I also had tingling / numbness in my hands and that symptom went away too - all in about a week. Good luck!
Oh wow Bonnie! That sounds so encouraging! I'm definitely going to do some research on that & hope it works for me too! I'm sending you a big welcoming hug! I'm so happy you are here with me! Thank you!💜💜💜
Also, there’s a fragrance free version of the e.l.f. moisturizer and I use that one because my skin is so sensitive. Now I’m going to watch the other collab videos! I love how helpful and informative your videos are and that you share your YT friends with us!! 😁
I'm was so sorry to hear about your son's injury. I'm so sorry he has to have surgery too. I know that must be scary for both of you! That's a very difficult and stressful situation for all of you I'm sure! I'm keeping your son and you and your family all in my prayers. Your son is so blessed to have you to help him to get through this very difficult experience. Please remember to take good care of you too while you are caring for him. I know we can sometimes forget to do that as Mamas. 💕 I have the Hado Labo Rohto cleansing oil. I love it! It gets all of my makeup off with ease. I haven't tried the creamy cleanser but when I need a 2nd cleanser, I'm going to try it too. I'm going to order the moisturizer now as well as the urea moisturizing essense and the eye cream too. I also want to try the sunscreens too when I need to get more. I love your recommendations! I found Penny's channel because of you and I just love her! She's so knowledgeable and so very sweet! I use the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant you mentioned and I’ve found that it’s more of an exfoliant than a cleanser because I feel like I need to cleanse my skin before I use it to get all the products completely off. I love having an alternative for it though so thank you!!
Well this was a fun collab! I have to add the GM cleansing balm to the lineup. I am still in search for the best one for my needs. Loved this and you look just gorgeous! 🤗❤️

Had my little dog Freddy with me (5.5lb Yorkipoo) and we started our visiting different sights, like the lake, buffalo, the falls, beautiful wild flowers & so much more Then we had a picnic of peanut butter 🍞 for little Freddy followed up by cold water🥛. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich for me an🍎🍇's and cold 🥛🌷💮🌿🕯️🌻🌱🌸🌹🌿🌿🌾🌾🥀. It was a spectacular day, but I was exhausted. Fell asleep in the chair, but by the time you get prepared for bed you are wide awake again right! So I thought I'd watch Melissa..I started watching at 1:15 it is now 3:38.
