Indian Military Academy Ball Night is the most awaited social event for the gentlemen cadets. The IMA Ball is held at the end of each term to mark the culmination of a rigorous training schedule of the passing out course.

For those who criticizing the ball party let me remind that there is difference between 'modernization' and westernization.Many people in India today till date feel that if we wear these kind of fancy dresses they think that we are not showing respect to our traditional wear which is absolutely not true.People have to understand that wearing 'casual wear' does not mean disrespecting 'traditional wear'.When we say 'westernization' that means people of Europe ,North America ,South America their values and their thinking towards society are not appropriate with our Indian People's our very own Indian values and our thinking towards society.According to me Doing Party,Ball party,going to dj,pubs,clubs,bars and wearing casual dresses are signs of modernization .But equal respect should be given to Traditional wear.

धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः motto is used by RAW. Army regiments have mottos but not Army overall like Navy (शं नो वरुणः) & Air Force (नभः स्पृशं दीप्तम्)
Entertainment is also very important for a balanced personality. But from the mottos, culture & Dharm are also very important. Like Gentlemen, females whether they are invited from outside or are trainee candidates, should also be Gentlewomen & should not wear such hyper-westernized revealing dresses. This is the effect of Western media, film & modelling industry. Also, this drink culture & nonveg should be banned, it is against Sanatan Dharm. All nutritional requirement of body can be fulfilled by veg food. Killing innocent & faithful beings is unethical & sinful. I have all the book-chapter-verse# but i don't wan't to give long response. Armed forces people should also read & follow scriptures.
We should follow our ancient kshatriya raja tradition rather than British soldiers tradition
@@invisibleperson-cy3uf Most of them follow that. Only recruits from city follow such culture. Sikhs, Jats from villages and even cities of Haryana , Himachal, Jammu and Punjab wont prefer their women in Punjabi Suit. Same applies for other states too.
First of all this is indian army not hindu army , alcoholism is part of military culture and no officer gets drunk they only drink in limits and 70% indians are non vegetarian so vegetarianism is out of question and indian army is a successor of British Indian army and they are following the traditions which are beneficial for the armed forces and regarding the old kshatriya traditions then these modern traditions are superior than those older traditions that is why almost all the armies of the world follow similar traditions and if those Kshatriyas were so great then why were they defeated so badly at the first place religion in the armed forces is just for troop motivation officers do not have any religion your religion is your men's religion if your company is muslim majority you will celebrate Eid and read namaz with your troops .

India is Greek-Latin reference & even Hindu is Persian reference. if we were not invaded then our army would be known as Bhartiya Army (Thal Sena). After 1000+ years of invasion, exploitation, genocide, conversion, corruption also people don't realize. After losing 2 big chunks of Pak & BD & almost losing state of H'Bad, still people don't realize. So many kashmiri pandits were murdered & exiled, 2-3 million Bengali women were raped during 1971 BDL war, then also people don't realize. And then many people are gripped by German Karl Marx or Chinese Mao Zedong. This is why we lost because people could be corrupted by divide-and-rule policies & that's bcoz those people were irreligious/adharmic Tamsik/Rajsik in nature, they don't read scriptures which forbid meat & intoxicants which are sense-pleasing & tranquilizing elements. And that's why 70% of population is into various violations. We will continue to have moles, cheaters, traitors & fake people as long as people are irreligious & don't read the scriptures. Motivation does't require meat & liquor.

While many of us are laughing or asking what singles are doing we must ask what the hell is this? . This is stupidity, makes cadets distract and they forget what lies ahead. This is how we lose men, army must not turn into a circus all these stupid things must stop happening. Peer pressure, insecurity, thoughts of a girl must be away from a cadet at least the time he's in training. That's all I had to say.
