Head on over to the firing range and learn to operate an arsenal full of firearms. Customize your perfect preposterous tacti-cool arsenal. Compete in structured challenges with global leaderboards. Blast apart meaty bots and then chill out on the range setting off fireworks. Or have some friends over and take turns throwing everything from horseshoes to explosives while making an a** of yourself!”

H3VR is a game I can’t stop coming back to. While it’s fairly short on campaign-style content, H3VR creates one of the most true-to-life gun simulators that virtual reality has to offer. Unlike Pavlov or Onward, H3VR doesn’t strive to be CS:GO or COD. It attempts to emulate the gun range you’ve always wanted to go to. In today’s episode, I use this simulator to train myself to become a professional Virtual Reality Scout Sniper. No glizzies were harmed in the making. I cannot recommend H3VR enough.

(3:25) Apparently in H3VR Lore, this is actually, legitimately the case. The US Annexed Canada and called it Northest Dakota. You find this in an audio log in the Winter Wasteland scene, which Northest Dakota is based off of

I can't help but feel like using an anti tank rifle on a single infantry is neither polite nor efficient.

I remember being on the call after one of the H3 streams and this video definitely comes around to some of the conversations that came up. Video was spicier than the dried pepper I once ate at a Pesto Pasta after my dad advised me not to (it’s a good thing in this case).

As a side note, if you hold a bolt action gun with both hands and use the touch pad you can slide your finger back then forward to cycle the bolt without having to let go of the gun and grab the bolt.
Not sure if your controllers have a touch pad but if they do then this should work

If you hold a revolver and press up on the analog stick and push it it will unlock the rotation of the revolver and allow you to spin it (i'm not sure if all revolvers can do this but i'm 99% sure sure the colt single action army can)

Great video! Do you ever experience drifting in the controller closest to you when aiming down sight using the Quest 2? I do and I haven't been able to find a solution for it, feels like I have to hip fire most of the time :( I think it's because the controller is too close to the cameras, or maybe I'm holding the gun wrong?
Thank you! I do actually. The quests tracking is inside out, so it uses the cameras on the outside of the quest and sensors in the controllers to track your hands. If you hold the controllers too close or out of view of the headset it gets goofy, not really sure if there is a solution

There are stabilization settings in the controls menu. I use those to dampen out small movements with sniper rifles

How'd you get the quest to work with H3VR, I thought it wasn't straight off compatible? Or did you do the virtual browser trick that most people use to get around the incompatibility
Nope, it’s only playable via PCVR. I use a $20 usb c cable to connect to my gaming PC and play thru steamVR

This is actually in the graphical settings. You can enable bullet trails without a mod, but it's very costly on your CPU.

What very headset do you have.looking at getting one
I use the Oculus Quest 2. Definitely the most bang for your buck. I link it to my gaming pc via a cheap USB C cable and it handles flawlessly. The downside is that it’s owned by Meta, so Zucc gets to see through your eyes
