Yep but he's got a business to run.
It's optional of course, but the Ice Vanwrym might be worth having in your party anyway - it is a VERY powerful pal to have at this point of the game, and stays a meta contender throughout. It covers both dark (strong against normal) and ice (strong against dragon) types and there are a fair few normal and dragon type bosses it'll do amazingly well against. If nothing else, you might want to shove it in your base as it will currently transport all your increased production, can be assigned to a cooler once you have one, and will hold it's own very nicely in raids as long as it's not terribly out levelled.
Also, Kingpaca's use is that with a saddle he increases your carrying weight by 100 when in your team. They're worth having in order to move things between bases in bulk.
Just a good tip (in case you didnt end up doing this later, only halfway through the video) I'm using Metal armour and Im able to survive in the small desert by using heat Resistant Undershirt during the day and Thermal Undershirt during the night

Kingpaca is nice because having him in your party increases your carry weight by 100. Similar to the cativas, but they only increase by 50.
Also he has a pretty good aoe.

I love your content. I would really enjoy even just the clips though, your wife and you have great gaming chemistry which is really fun to watch.

Another detail I noticed is, that your "sweet spot" on the alpaca wasnt actually a sweet spot but the result of Nox turning your attacks into Dark which is why it did more dmg

There is an entry in the survival guide called ‘elements’ that has a nice graphical representation of the types and their strength’s/weaknesses. For easy reference.
Also I think its hilarious how you lay this game like it’s Ark with mostly pals you can ride in your party 😂
That's how I do it, easier traveling.
@@RabiezDeWorgen I usually keep one dedicate travel pal (Beakon right now, sometimes Rayhound, soon to be Kitsune) and the rest are strong fighters with diverse types. That being said I can ride like one or two of those, I just prefer to fight on my feet and let the pals do their thing.
Need more livestreams or just like VOD type videos of just raw footage. Something to just sit and listen to as I’m busy all day. Love this game and your channel would watch you play Tetris or farm wood and stone for 8 hours 😂😂😂

The bonus damage you were getting on Kingpaca was from Nox’s ability converting your damage to dark damage. Love the content.

You may not care about the head armor, but you need to upgrade it to the metal one. NPC's tend to make headshots often and its separate from the armor you wear on the rest of your body. It would also be a good idea to lvl your pals for when you get raided, or your just going to have a bunch of incapacitated pals your going to have to wait to recuperate afterwards.
BRING HEATHER BACK. Nobody needs a guide this early. Just have fun and goof around

You probably won't see this, but the point of Day/Night cycle in this game is to bring more thought into which Pals you use in your base. There as both Diurnal and Nocturnal Pals, who will work on their respective times.
Ijs, lowering the night cycle makes most nocturnal workers less useful.
siberlyx will be very usefull it produces better fabric if its in a farm so you never need crafting it for wool it cost 5 wool to produce 1 and the pal will produce it for berrys as food ^^
You probably already know but the breeding pen in pal world is really good for getting amazing pals you can get the late game bosses at around level 20
You can increase your catch rate with the power statue

If you go back to that screen you brought up for kingpaca when you first captured him it sounds like he has immense carry weight. It said his “partner skill” “king of muscles: while in team he helps carry things increasing the players max carrying capacity” plus he’s obviously mainly a fighter so he’ll be in your party anyway with a added benefit of carry weight increase

I know this comment might be late and I have scanned the comment section roughly to see if this was mentioned, but regarding your fight with kingpaca, the increased damage you did after bringing nox out was due to it giving your damage the darkness element (which is best against neutral element). The intention of this comment is to be informative and not condescending. Also thank you for your amazing content

Try breeding a bushi with kingpin it will greatly help your automatic metal farm. (Warning it’s kinda equal to a jumping up to a Rex in Ark

fun tip I got a flyer with speed on it. They are worth farming for. they are soooooooo much faster than normal flying mounts. I even tested with a speed track I made and it was drastically different.
Kingpacca gives you more weight capacity

just letting you know that Digtoise is currently bugged in the base. It only does 1 dmg per tick when it should be doing 15-20 ~ per tick, as you can see when you have it in your team.
You might need its pal accessory to do more damage.
if you have it in your team it works fine, but if its in the base it doesnt do dmg. The Accessory only works for team pals unfortunately@@_____8632

Can't you use the pal that has cool down abilities for the desert tho?
For the feed bag, it doesn't work for the mount you're on or the pet you have out with you in battle. It ONLY works when they are put away for whatever reason.
It will work for the battle pal, but not a mounted pal.
Found this spot coords: 200 -37 its on the top of a mountain it has coal and ore and tons of it its the best place for an automated farm also try to get rid of the digtoise asap and trade with anubis by breeding quivern together with chillet. Digtoise only does 1 dmg hes good saddled but without not really usefull anubis does 40-60dmg per hit
Also a Nice flat piece of land where your base perfectly fits around is at -475 -75
Also get excited for breeding its really cool you have to breed a whole line of different evolutions to get a perfect pal Its not like ark where you keep breeding the same thing over and over you can basically breed every pal like 90% is cross breeding and you would need to find perfect combinations to get what you need to breed luckily theres are excel sheets and stuff for it out now but its really fun to get perfect abilities im excited to watch you hopefully do that in this game too cause you literally can make anythin work end game breeding
Another tip for battling is to call back your pal whenever the enemy casts an attack on you this way your pal stays protected and doesnt get hit while you can keep hitting him on foot. Currently its a pain in the ass to fight mounted cause there isnt any ability to dodge on your mount and no dmg reduction for players so this is the best way to battle right now until they rework it. I really hope that helps

One thing I have found out about the Feed Bag is that while you are riding your pal they will not eat which is what happen to Nite wing and Direhowl. Just jump off your mount for 2 seconds and they will eat again!

Why you bullying my boy kingpaca 😭 kingly slam does 4000 damage
One thing the little compass up the top of the screen will point out fast travel points once you are 300m away from it. and the digtoise are super op once you give them the headband
Please use ctrl to dodge, it has elden ring/dark souls like dodging but you cant dodge emediately after but its really close to being 89%-95% immune to damage if you just spam ctrl in the right diraction. I found this out last night fighting the lvl 17 water boss with my nightwing and my 3 necklace pals- flying has no dodge and will get u killed bc of the purple attack which attacks both mount and player, its like fighting the poison wyverns from Ark, you will die lmao anyways on another note, having 3 necklace compatible Pals on ur team at once while not fighting a boss or whatever, is kinda hell bc they dont do work around the base like your equipes pal will do but sometimes they will? Its like u have to re-equip and then bring out another one to have 2 working pals out at once? But again, its super glitchy and might need a game update or bug fix to it or something. Bc it feels like they should be able to work or at least transport stuff but whatever

Sybelite is actually great to put in the ranch - it drops high quality cloth which you'll need for higher level equipment!
just recently made a iron farm by kingpaca , there are like 8 nodes there :)
also, something random is that if you put a dead pal in a viewing cage, it will be immediately revived.
Great content ❤.if you get to breeding,try a Alexaurus and Celaray any level to get a Anubis egg ( a level 47 boss and +4 handi, trans. +3 and mine+3). All eggs hatch are level 1. Also to instantly heal party pal , do this: put pal to your party and go to menu and on the "party " tab select and drop the injured pal don't pick him up put another pal in your party, then pick the sphere with the injure pal you drop , he be heal . Good luck.

Hey Syntac, a little tip for ya: the teleport points will show up on your compass at the top of the screen when your near em
Hey Syn you need to seriously space out the work areas or else you’ll have really bad pathing for your pals
You're also able to see if a statue/teleporter is near you if you look at the compass on the top of the screen.
I've been playing this on my steam deck and it works really well! Super happy 😊
