- On our next stop in India we visited the ashrams of the great saint Sombari Baba. We talk about our visits to Padampuri and Kakrighat where Sombari Baba lived during the later part of his life.
He was a saint in high regard who is considered to be one of the greatest saints to walk this earth. Even the great saint Neem Karoli Baba said he was one of the greatest saints to ever bless us with his presence.

Hi guys, just returned from my pilgrimage to India, Nanital, Kanchi, Kakrighat, Padampuri, Ramgarh and Badrinath. In the steps of Neem Karoli Baba and Sombari Baba. Had such a wonderful time, traveling with public transport, I met so many wonderful people and devotees. Such powerful and special places... Each and every place different and inspiring. Full of presence and reverence. Also got to meet K.K. Sah, which was a big highlight, such a wonderful soul. Thanks again for your videos :)
That sounds amazing. Badrinath is on our "to go" list. How was it? Never met KK but met Ram Dass, which was the most amazing meeting with a human being I have ever had. We talk about it in ep19 if interested.

Thank you guys.....loved to hear about Sombari Baba from you both. I did not know about the Padampuri ashram although I have been to Kainchi Dham twice. I think Kainchi Dham is also built around a cave that Sombari Baba used to use, and Maharajji obviously revered him very much. Thanks again for posting this....I will certainly visit Padampuri one day...!

Visited Padampuri ashram and Palada ashram of Sombari Maharaj. Also, Kakrighat temple recently. Blessed to have visited these places.
I cant express my happiness hearing about Sombari Baba Ji from you. Yesterday only I read book from K K Sah, It is really sad that He passed away on same day. But K K Sah has done great help by writing about Shri Sombari baba as much has not been written about him. I have great admiration and respect for Shri Sombari Baba Ji. He is also mentioned by Saint Swami Rama as well, in book 'Living with Himalayan Masters'. I am going to Kakrighat this week!
Read the book 'DEV BHUMI' Abode of Gods by K.K.Sah ji too. Amazing book.

i've been to Mahavatari Baba cave at Doonagiri, Khairna, Kainchi Dhaam, Vrindavan Neeb Karori Baba's samadhi, Vishishtha Gufa & Arundhati Gufa near Rishikesh, Lahiri mahasaya Ashram Varanasi, Trailanga Swami ashram Varanasi, Maa Anandamayi Ashram Varanasi, Vishudhanand ji Ashram Varanasi, Sarnath near Varanasi and met many Yogis too at various places. It's important to study the lives of these great beings. There are many lessons for us. Thank you for sharing this.

i've been to Khairna , another place where Sombari Baba meditated . it's between Kakrighat and Kainchi Dham. maybe 6-7 kms from Kainchi Dham

I think the possibilities to stay at the ashram might be quite slim. I am however not sure of this since we never asked, and we where there off season. We lived at a hotel in Naintal and took a taxi there. We paid the taxi driver to stay there and wait for us. The ashram is located near a small village and I do not think there are any hotels there (but I do not know this for a fact).

There's two ashrams credited to Sombari Baba. One in Kakrighat and one in Padampuri. Both of them are very beautiful. But I think it's very hard to find anything on internet regarding the possibility to stay in these villages. I suggest you take a taxi there for one day and ask the locals if there's any place to stay. Sombari Baba will help you on your journey I'm sure :)

Are Sombari Baba and Neem Karoli Baba the same Being??
They definitely were connected in some way, but I have never heard any stories about them being the same. It's speculated that Sombari Baba did come back in another human form and that human form did meet Neem Karoli Baba.

u people must also know a famous saint shri ranchod das ji maharaj who lived for more than 550 years. his ashram is in rajkot, gujarat, india. he was devotte to shri ram like neem karoli baba.
