I wonder, how much higher could it be?
I saved up a lot of credits during the past week (squeezed out ~78,000 from the tram replacements), then did quite some math as an attempt to pre-estimate the costs of the "generation 2" Enviro 200s, with my conclusion being a firm confidence that I CANNOT afford everything. What I witnessed on the update might prove me right, so I shall commence fourth and spend as much as I have!

Edit: 282195 is minuscule-ly off, because I had a 25%? vehicle discount in croycoach for some of the variants. Still within my estimated range though (250000-300000)

It really would've been less wild if it didn't cost 2.75 (approx) times the total price of EVERY enviro 200 variant added up.
I can see the point (itd take me the whole summer holiday to get it) but still quite nuts.

Temporarily set to very high, as one way to maintain exclusivity. All prices should go down in V1.4:
E200s will be set to 25% (if not altered afterwards) of the early access price
Caetano would likely sit between 4000-8000 credits when the day comes

It's like 5 minutes in and 5 minutes out. I assume it entertains the kids for long enough, but I will just quietly hop onto TR3s before my wallet metaphorically evaporates.

Yep, they were obtained from Christmas Pass 2023 which has been concluded long beforehand. They are intended to remain unobtainable otherwise up to the release of V1.4, except they accidentally released the Croycoach E200MMCs which were a part of it. Should've gone GAL.

Even I was not to touch grass for the remainder of summer I have other things to do on the computer as well. I guess I'm being kept busy in other ways instead.

It applies to "London Transport", which is that one rather neglected operator sneakily included as part of any C+ subscription. It does not apply to the basic operators, except in Croycoach where it for some reason did on my account (25% is a hefty reduction for some buses.)
London Transport =/= TfL, or at least that's how it is in this game

You wouldn't be surprised but 240K would take me just a month to earn back. I would need some preemptive grind for eventual 1.4 regardless, spending them is just another way to remind myself it can never be enough 🤷♂️
