Yes, mom is right; you should eat the white & green parts of the "tepung pelita" (the one you call jelly😊) together, although there are some who eat them separately or only one part; either the creamy & salty or the sweet one. Of course there are good & not so good ones so you'll have to try it from different vendors/sellers to find the one that suits your taste buds😊 And yes, the fish (ikan) looks like kembung (mackerel).

Playing time 10.11 ikan pari is stingray because already cut in pieces .Stingray is suitable for children because no sharp bone.The stall owner show you the part of ikan pari,only centre have soft bone because he see four children, easy for them to eat
