Huge respect for Dipika! As a cricket fan you don't like someone when they say they hate cricket. But you need to understand reasons behind it. She has to go through lot of trouble just because federation was not good with her in her younger age and Indian athletes, other than cricketers, don't get enough money to spend on the tours. You have to appreciate those efforts. Kudos girl! All the best for future tournaments!

Deepika is a National Champion, smart and talented. Shibani is interfering a lot in the interview, constantly talking. Even the rapid fire she didn't ask questions about Squash or about Deepika's Arjuna Award, Padam Shri award; but instead, made it entirely about cricket. I want to hear Deepika talk and express her opinions but shibani keeps on interrupting.

Squash is a game privileged for people from wealthy background, that's not the case with the cricket which is played by kids from every nook and corner. However times are changing, squash is no longer a privileged game and it has grown from the notion of being just a "fitness" game.

Lovely Episode, Dipika is really amazing and I seriously had thought back then that she would be featured in Breakfast With Champions (because she really is a champion).
Fantastic and inspiring episode but would be happier if this episode would have featured in Breakfast with Champions rather than here.
Both Dipika and Dinesh are Champions in their field, but you have to understand that Dipika has contributed more towards our country than her husband has.
PS : I love DK as well, but this is unfair. She has her own identity. She is Dipika Pallikal, a top squash player first, then she is Dipika Pallikal, wife of Dinesh Karthik.
