Hi everyone, just to answer a few questions that I see popping up: - The camera shots and animations are accomplished via a mix of video editing and animation tools (specifically Anamnesis) - I don't do commissions. Everything I've ever done is pro bono, and I usually just approach people and ask if I can make a video featuring their character. This is just a fun side-hobby for me. It's also why I don't charge for mods I make - I don't think I'll ever do paid commissions. *cries* i was legit gonna ask cause I'm using my ff14 character in a ttrpg game would love one of these for that. It's a kingdom hearts game and they're going to be running through shadowbringers and the WoL is the final boss. Any tips for making the video with someone who has never done video editing?
@@cindernickleson7228 I've never done video editing, either, but I can still say the most important thing to do is to have fun with it! It doesn't matter if it's silly or if it's goofy, as long as you think it's the coolest shit, it's the coolest shit. In terms of actual advice I could give as a viewer, don't over-edit. Focus on getting your raw footage, first, and then stitch your favorites in a cohesive manner. Get a bunch of cool shots and then pick out the ones that make you go "ah that's perfect" the most. *Then* you can do some fun with editing.

Roles will face themselves as an option, just in case you don't want to battle a warrior as a whm. (eg. tanks can only fight tanks). But you can toggle off for a challenge.
God- I'd love to be able to play against an AI version of another player. Hell- just making my own boss intro would be great. Just the reaction of seeing an Au Ra suddenly flourish and dance- throwing out chakrams, jumping onto them, acrobatically moving from chakram to chakram before landing in the middle of the arena... And finishing with a Technical Step. "Well... Shall we dance? It's common courtesy to go all out in the heat of passion!"
Honestly, given how far AI technology has come, that would actually be possible. They could have a bunch of different voices and use AI to create whole speeches for the Intro. The biggest hurdle would probably just be the players themselves abusing it for NSFW stuff like they did with the adventurer plates.

The wind white mage's was my favorite! That was so clever using Lakshmi's or Nophica's "charmed" style effect of pink mist around the arena and petals floating up not as a charmed effect but as a gust of wind rising! You did so good on these!!!

Arriving in a clearing they were silenced by a massive whirlwind complete with lightning bolts shooting throughout the gale. When it cleared there stood a lone figure readied for battle. The hopefuls' faces became whiter than half of Tsukiyomi. "Oh seven hells" "Twelve preserve" Their foe didnt speak, only nod, for they were the Warrior of Light
