I'm a white guy - moved to Cape Town, South Africa for a year in my late 20's just after Mandela was released from prison but de Klerk was still in power. We all knew the ANZ would soon be in power and there was some legitimate concern among whites about holding onto what $ they had, but, at least among the people in my quite white circles, I don't remember there being these racist feelings that are expressed in this vid. The feeling was more that the whites knew apartheid was wrong and they should find a fair way forward - they wanted to do that, but naturally they had some concern about how it would go. And the white South Africans I knew loved Mandela with deep respect - they believed he would be fair and save them from those calling for revenge - and they were right. I do remember some of my friends mentioning that their parents were raised in a very racist environment and the changes could be difficult for them / the older generations. But now that I think of it, my friends were/are among the white S Africans who stayed. I guess many who "fled" had different views. I only comment here to give a 'shout out' to the many white South Africans who knew the end of apartheid was going to mean the end of a social structure that benefitted themselves - and they embraced it gladly - and there were/are many. Please don't paint all white South Africans with the same broad brush.
When my family went to Tennessee for a family reunion when I was 10 years old, my southern dad said this when I asked why one water fountain said "whites" and the other said "colored": "it's just the way things are down here, son." Basically, these days, I hate racism, whether it comes from Trump, or DeSantis, or Cruz, or anyone in the GOP. (Few Democrats would openly admit to racism, but it probably exists even in that party. But a small, tiny fraction of what exists in the GOP.)

Well, there’re immigrants receiving more government help than natural born citizens. It’s a fact. ALL natural born citizens/ tax payers or not, should be protected over a foreign being. Otherwise, it’ll be rather difficult to distinguish a “unwarranted” invasion. The bases of feeling prideful of our homeland has now been jeopardized because of poor governance and it’ll fester if it’s unchecked.
