Awesome
Hauntingly beautiful!
They actually sung this song as a duet 7 years earlier...I guess on one of R. Watson's concerts in 2002 [key in Russell Watson & Hayley Westenra ]
Bravo
many versions of this beautiful song but i think she nails it the best in her solo version, i am not desrepecting Russel-- he is a fine singer
Mmmm....beautiful
This is Beautiful ❤️
@mynintendoportfolio Also, no - Hayley had duetted this with Bryn Terfel and Aled Jones prior to 2009.
Thankfully Russell Watson is the other part of the solution. And his way of getting the notes together with Haley worked out well too. Another part of the puzzle which helps me again. I'm now VERY determined to get this sorted out. And that if it's to take slightly longer than was expected. It's better that it does. And at least it's taking my mind off. The horrible mess within Britain over leaving Europe. I think that a lot better than listening to the utter nonsense and cogswallop coming out of Britain and Europe at this time. Much better to address the tears from New Zealand and that's what I intend to do.
Pōkarekare ana, ngā wai o Waiapu
Whiti atu koe hine, marino ana e.
E hine e, hoki mai ra
Ka mate ahau i te aroha e.
Tuhituhi taku reta, tuku atu taku rīngi
Kia kite tō iwi, raru raru ana e.
E hine e, hoki mai ra
Ka mate ahau i te aroha e.
E kore te aroha, e maroke i te rā
Mākūkū tonu i aku roimata e.
E hine e, hoki mai ra
Ka mate ahau i te aroha e.
Whati whati taku pene, kua pau aku pepa
Ko taku aroha, mau tonu ana e.
E hine e, hoki mai ra
Ka mate ahau i te aroha e
