There are 3 Aeon Malls in Phnom Penh, you can take grab to I and II, you can try to watch a movie it's very cheap and the cinema is extremely good. There are many good restaurants and beautiful places but you may want to engage a Chinese local to tour you around, as not many locals know the current development of Cambodia, do enjoy....
Yea this is one thing a foreigner normally wouldn't know. The Cinemas in Cambodia are very very good in Aeon Mall 1 and Exchange Square, it's better than the ones I was used to back in Shanghai to be honest, very surprised.

Welcome to Cambodia. We need more cooperation between Khmer and Chinese people, as China is the dominant economic power in this region. Unfortunately, most Cambodians prefer to study English even though there are more opportunities if they learned Chinese. Even tuk tuk drivers know some English just to make a few dollars a day from foreigners. As you mentioned, waiters can make double the salary by being able to speak Chinese. But they do not make any extra money by speaking English. It's not very smart st all, but most Cambodians are still influenced by anti-China Western propaganda.
This is true though, i've been there many times but I've never experienced once or seeing any incidents by myself. However, it's always better be more careful than being sorry, no matter which country you are. Always do remember to take good care of your own belongs and do respect others as well.
written in Chinese doesnt nessessarily means all are Chinese owned. if u talk about Chinese community, as a local i can think of only two locations which are dosens shops arround the Bridge and the community infront of the airport. there are no big Chinese community as u would see in other country. also that Aeon mall2 are of Japanese and the neibouhoods are of wealthy Cambodian, they may look abit like Chinese but they are Cambodian.

永旺是日本商场，这里并不是什么华人聚集区，也不是什么富人区，这里也是老城区，实际上你以为的你看到的贫穷的老城区，房东都不穷。超市里有中国商品，但是日本韩国商品更多。包括你看到的调料，中国的占比并不高。柬埔寨大学确实没有什么宿舍的概念，学生很多都是半工半读，上课时间很多选择，有的只上上午，有的下午，有的晚上，有的只上周末。实际上他们的教学质量真的一言难尽，即使是最好的大学在亚洲都排不上号。柬埔寨有钱人基本都出国读书的。
所以會去柬埔寨交換和上那種2+2的人蠻罕見的

北京的望京被称为“韩人区”也不是什么法定的规定，只是因为大量韩国人生活在这里，商店都是中韩双语。视频中几乎商家都有中文，所以说华人区也没什么问题
