I figured this was his true identity while playing the game because every time the Chaplain spoke, I would quote TheRussianBadger and say, "STFU, Leandros."
Yeah he probably became a Chaplain because hiding behind the skull-helm and Chaplain's authority is the only way he could get his brothers to work with him after it came out that he called the Inquisition on his Captain. I'm very curious about where they're going to take his story in the third game because I've always found it very suspicious that he was able to contact the Inquisition from Graia, that he even knew how to do that, and that out of all the Inquisitors that he could have contacted he called one that was later executed for heresy. Could just be the writer but it seems odd to me.
@@kurokaze511 Personally I could see him fall to his own pride and turn traitor . I mean think about it, he turned his Captain over to a Inquisitor, so not much chance of advancement now, so asks to become a Chaplain and as he is a mindless Codex following drone, gets taken in. He now has respect and position. Now Titus is back, found to be untainted by the Inquisition , has a stellar record with The Death Watch and Papa Smurf has welcome him back with open arms, Titus will be a remembrance to Leandros, of his own flaws. So I can see all through the 3rd game or story DLC , where ever they chose to do this, that Leandros will be praying for an excuse to take down Titus.
DO IT! DO THE OPERATIONS, LADY-BROTHERS!!! Seriously, this was a fucking great series to watch from you all. The absolute best part for me was watching how much fun you all were having. Looking forward to whatever you all put out next!
1:59:19- Leandros is the bastard who always ranted in the first Space Marine game to go by the Codex Astartes, yet he ironically disregarded the very text written by his own Primarch Roboute Guilliman when he reported Titus to the Inquisition when the Codex clearly stated that he was supposed to inform Ortan Cassius, the senior Chaplain of the Ultramarines for suspicion of being corrupted by Chaos.
It made sense why he's so bitter, even after Titus was absolved. Everyone else in the Chapter knew Leandros was a snitch and would have refused to serve alongside him. The only way he could continue to serve the Chapter was to abandon his old identity, don the Chaplain's helm, and give counsel from anonymity.
1:20:23 Marneus Calgar is not their dad, he's the Chapter Master, he's the older brother. Roboute Guilliman is the primarch, the dad of the Ultramarines. But I will now on refer to Lord Calgar as Big Poppa Smurf, or Big Poppa Blueberry.
YES! I'd say the only Chapter Masters who might ever be viewed like fathers to their Chapters would be Lord Dante of the Blood Angels and Chapter Master Daggan of the Blood Swords (who was a Venerable Dreadnought). And that would only be due to their sheer longevity.
They fixed a minor bug in the subtitles in a recent patch. The voice that calls 'rise, son of Robute Gulliman' isn't Daddy Calgar. It's Big Daddy Emperor.
I kinda want to see a TTS Emperor short with him shouting down to Titus. "Get up, you blueberry smurf. I know Guilliman sat out most of the Heresy, but you should know better."
@@LordBloodraven Guilliman sat out most of the heresy? I mean.. if you think having to fight against the Word Bearers, as well as their Daemons, as well as other traitor legions at the same time is "sitting out the Heresy" then sure, I suppose he sat it out.
Still a picnic compared to being a Helbrute, their chaos counterpart they faced. Not just overall quality of life, but work environment: Honored Hero vs. Failed Laughingstock.
1:11:35 I can imagine the chaplain and he's crowd suddenly turning to the trio's direction thinking " wat in the emperor's name are those 3 doing over der " after that accidental grenade 🤣
We all know why we’re here. DREADNAUGHT DAVE. Also, hell yeah to the operations. They’re a ton of fun and show what happened behind the scenes during the main campaign
I just finished watching this series, and I must compliment Alundra on the editing. I know it couldn't have been easy to keep things rolling smoothly between three different streams of data. Great job.
Leandros was the guy in the first game under Titus' squad that accused Titus of corruption. We look forward to watching operations cus you get to play the other stories that was going on at the same time within Titus' story!
Funny when you mentioned that you wanted to be able to use one of the Dreadnaughts. Those are for mortally wounded Astartes, they are basically life support that allows them to continue to serve the emperor.
favorite part was the raise de banner with the troupe of marines shooting the daemons coming out the portals. There are many little details here and there on the battlefield. Such as one marine carrying an other etc.
To be honest I wasn't sure if I'd like this game but after watching the first part, I can say I'm hooked. Love the story and the concept of comradery. The weapons and playstyle is epic to say the least.
ONE LAST INTERACTION FOR THE EMPEROR! What a fantastic playthrough this has been. I will join the chorus who would love to see you do the Operations, as well. Thank you so much, all of you.
From endless space bugs to the eternal minions of Tzeentch and their blood piñatas... The enemies are many, they have tricks a-plenty, but the siblings smash through anything that may come. It's a joy to watch these videos.
Sister Brothers! Play the operations! Not only do you get to make your own Space Marines but you can play the other sides of the story that was happening at the same time as the main trio.
"Let these wretches feel the wrath of acient vengeance!" - Marneus Calgar They made the ultramarines so iconic, they raised above the posterboy-status.
I loved it because it's the greatest insult we can give Leandros. Leandros takes off his helmet, thinking he's going to provoke Titus with his true identity. Titus instead goes, "Oh, yeah... you... it's, uh, been a long time... you old so-and-so..." Leandros indignantly replies, "Wait, don't you remember who I am?" Titus shrugs.
Tex talks has released another movie quality episode. Something to go to after the end of the Space Marine. Does make you wonder how well the Clans would do if the orks invaded the Clan home worlds
The Thousand Son Chaos Legion are the Egyptian looking Space Marines. They and their primarch Magnus the Red are the chosen of Tzeentch, the changer of way, the Chaos God of sorcery.
It is believed that both the Orks and the Tyranids were created by the old ones. Plus the war in heaven caused the warp to get weird. So both Space Marine games are following the same formula. That humans who may have been created by the old ones also. Are still dealing with consequences that the old ones did.
By the blessing of the Emperor we reached the end of the holy campaign. Brother kisses for everyone!! And hell yeah for operations gameplays of this. So down for it!
Fun Fact: When Titus was blacked out and the Voice sait "Rise, Son of Guilliman" the subtitled said it was Calgar, but in Fact it is not Calgar. They later fixed it so the Subtitle says Voice instead of Calgar, the Voice at the End is most likely the Emperor himself. The Voice was in his HEad and Calgar was like 20 feet away and that would make Titus a fcking living Saint
Yep to further game play! Leandros really grinds my gears, and seeing him as a Chaplin pissed me off. Thank you for sharing your gameplay here on UA-cam!
