G Rap...started the same time as Guru (RIP), carrying the torch for the old heads now.
I understand why the classical rock music doesn't get too many views. I even understand why Rakim and some of the other guys' stuff isn't that popular on here - because they're just don't deal with mainstream topics and so don't appeal to everybody like the songs on the radio do. What I don't understand, however, is why Kool G's new album isn't doing well in the sales department.
Kendrick Lamar is nowhere near the best rapper in the game. He is one of the best rappers that get airplay in this new bubblegum bullshit mainstream system. He isn't bad in any case, but he is not great. He has decent wordplay and his lyricism seems to hold to a good message, but there are dozens doing the same thing and are way better. You seem to be the close-minded one here.
