A Hollow Knight tribute I’ve wanted to do for a couple years now and finally decided to make! I did a new coloring style with this that I hope you all enjoy! This captured the feel of the continual trying and retrying (*cough* dying *cough*) of the game in such a beautiful way, all while reliving some of the best memories in the game! Love this one.

This is so and utterly lovely! They Might be Giants is one of my favorite bands, and this is my absolute favorite songs by them! Hollow Knight is also one of the games I love the most, and these 3 things combined is absolutely awesome!

1 day: i found this video and has been watching it over and over again until very night
2 day: i watched this video around five more times
3 day: i started thinking that i have to stop wathing this
4 day: i beated the pantheon of hallownest
This is honestly so lovely! For me it really captures the balance of wonder and excitement mixing with the kind of forlorn saddness I had with my first playthrough. It for some reason really drives in the point that this is the Knight *returning* to something that's somehow, dispite it all, something of a home. Its going to need a bit of work to get it back into a truly livable shape, but its still standing. Like repairing the old family home that's been sitting empty for quite some time. Tired, but positive that the work will pay off in the end for them and the people they've met along the way. I'm also really happy that even though I got into the fandom late, that there's still creators that love this game enough to continue making amazing fan content like this, going on what, 4 to 5 years later? Yea, that's pretty awesome.

Wonderfully done... I like how many different scenes there are included here... from little things like Quirrel at the Black Egg, or the Snail Shaman in the Overgrown Mound, to scenes like the Hornet fights and the Absolute Radiance...
And the song fits as well... "Everybody knows how this goes, so let's get over it and let's get this over with" was pretty much what it bioled down to while I thew myself at the radaint Bosses...
Though I pretty much love everything that reminds me of how wonderful this game is...
Yeah I spent I think a full day fighting the Radiance (I’m not the best at video games and I’m very impatient so when you have to be careful in a boss fight I suck lol) I’m glad you enjoy all the little parts I included!!!

I remember the first time I played hollow knight I spent probably 100+hrs on my first file and no where close to beating grim but after all of it 100%ing the game and seeing all it had I wanted more and years later I still do I’ve never loved a game as much as hollow knight and at least for now I don’t see that ever changing

This came out phenomenally! I like the little details you added to the backgrounds and character designs, such as the cape changing with advancements and upgrades and the design of the nail changing in the dream space.
I’m glad you like those little details! I didn’t got into it with the intention of changing the cape as we went but it made the most sense and seemed fun :3

i really love the way that this manages to capture the vibe of the world while also recontextualizing the game's difficultly as more of a tedious, foregone conclusion. it's a weirdly optimistic look at the knight's adventure
