Another excellent review! Would be VERY interesting to see these as part of a comparison video with other speakers you've heard in this price range - the Dali's, B&W's, etc.
Hello thanks again for reviewing less common stuff :) I have few questions about these: - how is the bass? I would put them near (10/15 cm maximum away) the front wall. Would the bass be bloated? - how do these sound at low volume? I live in an old apartment so it's pretty important to me that they manage to be enjoyable even at low volumes. - for the same price of a Klipsch 600m, what would be the better one?
Hi Paolo - thank you 🙏! I honestly believe this will beat the Klipsch 600m model for my preferences, which is midrange and overall cohesive presentation. 15cm / 6” is good especially at low volumes … you can enjoy the subtle dynamic expressions of these speakers without having to crank it. What amplification are you using? Note that Yamaha’s older variable loudness contour is one of my favorite features they have executed!
@@analogholic_reviews thanks again for replying. I would be using them with Rega IO connected to.a DAC in the living room. The livingroom is wider than deeper, the distance between me, the speakers and the television is about 2,20meters (7-8 feet)
i’m thinking to pair them with my rega io and rega p1 ( updated cartridge rega Bias2 ) and ifi zen blue v2 bluethooth receiver connected to ifi zen can ( i can use can as pre amp and connect my phone or tablet directly using cable id i want and i like ifi xbass funcion is good ) as cheap small room audio system what do you think about it ? will
Second this question! I haven't heard any Rega speakers but from what I've read, it seems like they are pretty lean / thin sounding. I wonder if the Kytes are similar. I listen to different genres of music, including rock (mostly 60s-80s classic rock & some hard rock), so I wonder if there was anything missing when you were playing those CCR and Pink Floyd records, they have some guitar heavy rocking tracks on them. I'm not a bass freak by any means and would like to avoid boomy bloated bass, but I like just a little bit of heft and fullness at the bottom.. Thanks!
Hello! I have not listened to the RS1 but I have had the RX3 for a few weeks (missed the opp to make a video). I would not call the RX3 thin sounding by any means. Same with the Kytes. Not thin sounding at all. They have body and resolution.
Another excellent review!

Thanks for that and a first showing of the standmount bracket. I have a pair on order and hope to be listening to them soon.
Welcome 🙏. What is the rest of your system? I have listened to them with the Brio and ElexR .
@@analogholic_reviews Moving back into speakers after being headphones only for a while. System will be P9 / Apheta / ios / io / kyte.
Solid!
Have you got them now?
Best review on UA-cam. Just subscribed. Thanks! 😎🎧
Thanks, Peppi for the kind words!
Yes I am the first commentor and I approve of this video review this guy knows what he’s talking about great advice as always keep up the good work
Video demo pleaseee 🤩
Ah sorry, I wouldn’t do that. As that will draw copyright infractions over my plans to monetize later (if I choose to).

Also, the bass bloat shouldn’t be an issue. If it is one thing I dislike, that’s bloated bass!

@@paolosoddu9642 given that it is wider than deeper, would you say you have ample distance from side walls?
@@analogholic_reviews oh yes, more on the left than on the right... I know less than ideal room, but it's the only room i can use for that

I think that’s a great idea. That’s essentially the system one and you have the flexibility of using cans for quiet listening.
I would like a comparison to the Rega RS1's. Are the Kyte's fuller in sound? The RS1's can sound a bit thin, and with not much weight to the sound.
