- Rebecca and Fiona are an electronic producer/DJ duo from Stockholm, Sweden. They’ve opened for Robyn, won 2 Swedish Grammy’s and have played at major festivals such as Tomorrowland and Coachella.
Elvis Suljevic (aka Slackin Beats) is an artist and producer from Malmö, Sweden who has worked with Swedish artists like Yari Blue, Raghd and Erik Lundin.
In this video, watch as Rebecca and Fiona work with Slackin Beats to take their latest track “Precious Time” from the studio to the stage, as the song is performed for the first time to a raving crowd of fans in Västerås, Sweden. Reason plays a pivotal part of the production, providing both the bass sounds and vocoded vocals.
This video was filmed in the legendary Ingrid Studios, formally known as Polar Studios, which has seen everyone from ABBA to Genesis and Led Zeppelin walk through its doors to record music.

I like how Reason Audio is trying their best to get people to hate their product... boom here's a video on musicians using Reason that shows musicians using Fruity Loops and Logic Pro... and a pissed comment section beggin for updates in the software instead. Excellent job 👍👍👍!!!
This is starting to make me wonder: is it really so hard to find producers who use Reason as a DAW for these types of videos? Almost all of these videos have Ableton as a DAW.
5:42 they use Logic and Fl. I think Reason was just used for effect plugin in this case :)

Its not a promo it's this band using Reasons BV X and other Rack devices.
The first 10 minutes were a bit slow-moving, but always appreciate seeing knowledgeable musicians using a mix of different tools.

They had Reason being used as a DAW in the last vid. Dont you think Reason Studios does a better job then Avid Protools? They dont have VST3 either and are now 100% subscription.
@@HOLLASOUNDS That protools situation is what needs to be avoided that sucks so hard.
But the people that scold Reason Studios do it because we love the software, if we didn't we would just move onto other DAW's and let them dwindle into obscurity
@@rootbeermcgee I have come to the conclusion that Reasons development team is very small possibly only consisting about 3 people and they struggling to keep up with other DAWs. They need to hurry up with VST3 and they should make that there main focus but while they do that other DAWs will develope something different.

Did you buy Reason12? Because it isnt included, it only comes with Reason+, otherwise you have to buy it.

This is not the former Polar-studio, this studio used to be KMH studio, nothing else....
If it was more educational tips and tricks it would be better content, then what appears to be a promo.
Instead of serving us significant software updates this is what we get instead.
Exactly what was on my mind. We need sequencer workflow updates or some other useful features, not these worthless (promo)videos. Also if i get another e-mail from Reason Studios to get on their stupid Reason+ subscription i am going wild. Reason policy has gotten really bad and quite sickening. Their ambassadors aren't going to cover/hide that, what a joke. Glad there are other daws who care for their customers and not wanting to squeeze every dollar out of our pockets.
Couldn’t agree more - The marketing team need to be fired. In fact in response to this video I am cancelling my subscription. I have been a Reason user since 1.0.
It's a well-known fact that when some people not connected to the coding make a video the people doing the coding have to stop working completely and just eat cakes and drink coffee.
The Reason development team are not the ones making these videos. The videos are made by the featured artist them selfs and send to Reaon studios on request.

I wonder after this vid, are reason studios going to add the ability to take selfies using reason but ignore all the requests for sequencer updates. Tbh nothing would surprise me anymore about their future additions that nobody wants.

This has to be a fucking joke. It's like one of those awful documentaries that you assume are a mockumentary, but then realise it's not. I kept thinking David Brent would walk in at any moment. What in the name of anything holy is Reason Studios marketing department thinking? This is beyond cringeworthy and it makes me even more worried about the direction of this company and its product. Fucking 'top lines', cheesy shite music, horrendous vocals and posing for Instagram pictures. I'm literally aghast.

They are getting other people to make videos for this channel so they can put out regular content while not having to spend the the time using there own team to do it. They dont control much of what's made and are hopefully spending there time improving the DAW. The videos are good but some not so much.
This video would be way better if it was just Slackin Beats talking about Reason 😉

I agree with you I feel ripped off after reason 11.3 I won't give them a dime it's a joke now a vocoder and FL studio in their channel hahaha bums
I don't like the 11 and 12 updates, they want you to buy a whole new system in order to use the program, I saw other vst plugin manufacturers still supporting older operating systems, like Windows 7 and OSX 10.10 and so on, But having to upgrade to use Reason 11 & 12 and, then there is the price increase of upgrading from previous versions of Reason, boy they really did mess things up for me untill then, I'll have to stick to version 10 for awhile.
@@davym3415 I cant run 12 on My laptop as you need and gaming laptop in the range of £2000 to £3000 to run Reason properly.

Instead of bitching, maybe you guys should get off you tube and create something. These people are trying to live their dream and make something beautiful. Cheer them on and embrace the difficult life of an artist.

Reason Studios' marketing team has nothing to do with the software development team. The DSP experts that write the code aren't shooting these videos. I can't believe I have to explain this to adults.
It's not hard making music, the hard part is getting the following and the money to get you heard above the sea of artists. It's not how good your music is, its who you know.
