ATEEZ killed it with this comeback! It’s their most successful comeback yet, they’ve got 6 wins in music shows already and they haven’t finished promotions yet! I highly recommend listening to their full album, there are no skips 🤗
promotions have actually just ended but they also got inkigayo's hot stage award twice so that's 8 wins for our 8 boys which feels right lol :)
@@YaayItszRhea 8? OMG
@@ronysotillo4287 yes 8 in total with 2 hot stage inkigayo for the add.
@@YaayItszRhea 8 wins! Omgggggg
@@abbiecampfield8955 the hot stages are fan awards, so not as high calibre, but they got trophies and everything to add to the collection :)
Ateez absolutely killed it, the whole album is a masterpiece, I hope you react to it ‹3
Yess!
worth to mention, Ateez and Dreamcatcher has the same producers, so if he likes Dreamcatcher I think he'll like Ateez a lot too, thank you so much for your reaction ☺️
Clarification: ATEEZ'S production team is Edenary. Their main producer is Eden. The other 2 original members are Leez and Ollounder (who produce for Dreamcatcher). Over time they've picked up more members like Peperoni, Olive, HLB, and Maddox. So, they share some producers.
@@flaggov6949 yes, thank you for adding ☺️
@@flaggov6949 I was about to say the same thing. Edenary are Ateez’s main producers so they don’t share the same producers lmao. Just two that help out.
I missed one. Buddy is also apart of the original group.
@@gymfoodie20_42 you're wrong. Go check who is in Edenary team and who works in Dreamcatcher production team
This is the first time I’ve seen him smile while reacting and I’m so happy that ateez did that
i love hearing producers react to ateez because i feel like i pick up on a lot of the cool stuff they do production-wise but i'm not educated enough to be able to articulate what it actually is that they've done that makes their songs sound so good. I'm really happy you both enjoyed it!
guerrilla is amazing my fav song of the year the whole album is so unique and different thank u for reacting to them
Ateez actually have a full on storyline that u can see in their music videos and albums :) the little clip at the end was also one of the puzzle pieces that Ateez gives us in order to understand their storyline also their storylines is in every music video and in a lot of performances
Guerilla is crazyyy! It’s so far my favorite comeback this year 😆
I LOVE Ateez, they're so good! New album giving me some rock opera vibes, like "Mozart" or "Jesus Christ Superstar", don't know why)
Yes
Absolutely!
chan is just a genius with this instrumentals.. he makes new sounds and incorporates sounds you cant imagine being in tracks but he makes it work everytime.. that guy is a musical genuis. thats it.. plus coupled with 3racha lyricism and composing skills.. stray kids always delivers.
You should really listen to the whole world movement album, this is by far Ateez’s most cohesive album theme every song is so good and goes together so well!
Thunderous will always be one of my favorite Stray Kids songs!
Our maknae Jongho can make anything look easy. We are super lucky to have him as our main vocalist. Love you Ateez 💜.
YES THUNDEROUS and Guerilla are each groups most successful Songs!!! You should also React to Xdinary Heros since they are A KBAND but still promote like a group I recommend all their songs so far Happy Death Day, Test Me and Strawberry Cake
We are planning on checking out Xdinary Heros soon!
I think for stray kids is god’s menu, but all their songs hit hard tbh ❤️
It's definitely God's Menu
@@Drobah104 I literally love them!! They’re an ult for me
I'd say god's menu and wonderland are the most popular respectively, but guerrilla and thunderous are both still huge!
The blue fire in Thunderous represents goblin fire (dokkaebibul) from Korean folklore and all the traditional sounding instruments are Korean tradition instruments, not Western. The Korean title of the track, 소리꾼 (sorikkun) actually means a great singer, specifically someone who sings pansori and traditional Korean folk songs. In the beginning, when Changbin has the fan, his rap style follows a more pansori flow rather than a traditional rap flow. 💛
Being a metalhead myself, also having a metalhead older brother, I have to say Jongho is a metal vocalist's dream. He has such range in his voice and its sound makes him a perfect fit for rock songs (he and Kihyun from Monsta X could cover any rock song like they have been destined for it). Another thing I liked about your rundown was how quickly you recognized they brought actual instruments in the song, that was the first thing I noticed too even though I am not that trained I could hear it from a mile away :D
Thank you for this reaction!!
Ateez-yes the end and whole video are storyline. The World-is set in the dystopian world of Halateez (Ateez in a different dimension-the guys in the black fedoras). Their world bans the arts and the Guerrillas/Halateez have started a rebellion to break the brainwashing with music and dance.
I’m glad he appreciates Jongho’s vocals and the production.
If you have him back you should share Deja Vu, Fireworks, and Answer. All three have interesting production choices. Eden (main producer) likes to use real instruments whenever he can.
Extras for Jongho vocal-Black Cat Nero is a must-it goes from lower register, soft voice Jongho to hard rock vocal Jongho (he reminds me a lot of Stephen Perry).
Also, Hala Hala Jongho’s vocals are fire.
I have been waiting for your reaction of Guerilla. The inner 2000s scene kid in me squealed with the hardcore style scream.
Ateez is legend
This new ateez album is CRAZY you should really react to the other songs, so amazing
Ateez is the best!!! They can do any genre and do it well. Great reaction!
Woah I loved 'Guerrilla' and the whole album, it's a masterpiece 🔥 ATEEZ never disappoint
All of Ateez Albums are concept albums and they all connect into one large story.
Ateez and dreamcatcher have the same music producers
Ateez just give us bangers after bangers!! That have literally become my favorite kpop group.
Guerrilla SOTY ATEEZ the near future kings of KPOP, they are not only a kpop band but a global group.
in Stray Kids song, the bell instrument is Kwaenggwari, a traditional Korean instrument. In addition, traditional Korean rhythms and musical instruments were used.
Ateez' s full album is so good, like crazy and it is kind of a concept itself. It follows this rock/punk vibe you should listen to it!!
ATEEZ GUERRILLA!!!
Literally been playing guerrilla on repeat sooo good my fav ateez song so far if you want a less rap heavy song from stray kids they just released a mixtape song called Time Out for their 4th anniversary not sure if its the theme of the season but so many groups have been popping out songs with more rock/metal influences recently which has been awesome. Time out is more a summer anthem very throwback to your 2000s type soft pop rock id say if thats the right genre super fun tune. :D
Guerrilla is an amazing sing and hopefully will fuel some more aggressive styles in k-pop. Thunderous is my favorite Stray Kids song. The stringed instrument is a Gayageum, a 12 string zither. Many traditional instruments were used in the production. If you like that style, I suggest Oneus "Lit" and "Luna."
My boys did well they won tons of awards ATEEZ SUPERMERCY
I'm so happy to see your reaction to Guerrilla, i was so excited to hear his opinion on it so thank you both for responding to the recommendations in the comments & reacting on it, I'm glad you both enjoyed it!! :)
Another recommend from me would be Xdinary Heroes, especially their new album was an absolute positive surprise for me and i feel like both of you would enjoy most of the tracks since they're actually a K-Band and have lots of rock elements! :)
Ateez honestly killed it this comeback and of course they have the best producers to make them a song influenced by rock! Ateez's producers are mostly the same producers for Dreamcatcher!! Leez, Ollounder and Eden - legends
Just wanted to correct you quick so you have accurate information, The Boyz's 12th member Hwall didn't leave before debut he left in 2019 due to ongoing issues with his ankle. He's still making solo music and has branched into acting as well. Thanks again for the awesome reaction!
i lost my mind when i saw him in color rush because i didn't really follow them that closely but i knew he left and i didn't know he was in that bl haha
I just want to add that he doesn’t go by hwall anymore, his name is hyun-jun
@@xoxojongho When I saw it was him I lost my mind too lol Before really getting into the boyz the only members i really knew were him and eric and hwall was my unofficial bias and i was so sad when he left but I still support him
@@oleander_garden Oh thank you! I forgot to mention that
@@paigebloomer1653 rightt. when he took off his mask I was like wait I know him and then looked him up haha
I hope u will react to the whole album..this movement album is a banger
For those who like rock, I recommend ATEEZ's Black Cat Nero (a re-make of a song by Turbo) and Rocky their recent Japanese release. The songs on The World EP 1 Movement have a similar genre to Guerilla. My favorites are Cyberpunk and New World. I definitely recommend having him listen to ATEEZ live so he can hear how great Jongho is live--that's his natural vibrato. Thanks for all of the interesting information about the production!
Absolutely!
Ateez is truly unique. I really loved their comeback and I think they are so underrated. I hope you guys react to more Ateez!! If you need recommendations, I have a LOT lol
Omg reacting to my 3 favorite groups in one video. I went to the boyz concerts in June, i attended 2 shows (vip hehe) and maverick was the opening song, and i can tell you, It’s such a hype song and it makes you so excited for the rest of the show, ugh i miss them
All of ATEEZ albums are concept albums, and they are all super connected. The storyline is super deep and Hongjoong had a hand in writing all of it. It’s really interesting to do a deep dive into and watch the MVs in order!
I can't get over ATEEZ's comeback, so so good. I enjoyed your reaction!
I've listened to Maverick so many times yet you pointed out so many things in the track I never noticed, I appreciate your reaction (:
Listen, I've been HOPING a fellow metalhead would react to the scream in Guerrilla. It sold me on the song before we ever even got into the meat of it. The rest of the album deserves a listen with a critical ear, too, because it's so cohesive.
Also, Chris's mention of the similar synth setup between Victory Song and Thunderous: that might've been intentional, to link the songs, but it also may or may not just be indicative of which member of the production unit came up with the melody, since they're self-producing.
Ateez absolutely killed it this comeback
Yesss I've been hoping you would react to Ateez👏🏾 really enjoyed it 💓
Thank you so much for reacting to THE BOYZ.💖💖💖
You should show him “Drink it” by The Boyz… i think he would like the concept and the sound of it!
For Thunderous the blue fire is supposed to represent the Korean goblin
I am always thankful to people who react to The Boyz, they aren't from the top 3 agencies and are hence quite underrated, but its always so fun to see people react to their work. Thank you soooo much!
tbz are actually top5 ( maybe top 3 ) 4th gen bgs rn in korea ! internationally not so much, but lets hope they can grow more internationally
first time to see your reactions, love your reaction to Ateez, but your constant smile is so contagious - I'm smiling even more when you smile! Thank you for your reaction, will check out some of your other videos
Ateez's new album is a new chapter of their career-long storyline but if you'd like some more context for this part of the story only, they released 2 trailers and the MV teaser that explain the basics of the worldbuilding for this particular setting.
GUERRILLA LA AMOOOOO ES UNA MASTERPIECE!! ESTOY TAN OBSESIONADA QUE NO PARE DESCUCHARLA DESDE QUE SALIO ,ME ENCANTA!
amazing choices for all 3 groups!!!
por favor escuchen el nuevo album de ATEEZ esta impresionante !cada cancion tiene una produccion y un nivel ufff a la altura de una title track !
thanks for reacted to the boyz Maverick, it made me know more detail of this song, so pls react more of theirs.
YASS ATEEZ 🫡🔥
I love hearing from a producer perspective makes me learn more things about music in general. I wish for your channel to grows 👍
I'm obsessed with Maverick 😭
thanks for react to SKZ!!
That mandolin was probably Kayagum. The original title of thunderous is more like master of sound/singer who sang original pansori (traditional type of very drum heavy music). I love how they incorporated it to trap.
Guerrilla is amazing!
I loved this comeback, hope they can bring rock again for the next album too bcuz they are so cool
Love his reactions cause he points out things in the songs that i've never payed attention before, it's super cool
Ateez es impresionante¡¡¡¡ excelente todo lo que hacen¡¡¡
thank you for reacting to the boyz! looking forward to seeing you react more of them.
Love your reactions guys More STRAY KIDS pleaseeee ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍
Please show Chris Jongho's four-octave high note from their Kingdom performance of Wonderland, it's absolutely bonkers.
THANK YOU for noticing the actual instruments in Guerrilla. That snare hit is unmistakable, that’s a real acoustic snare hit. Also that song is just absolutely fantastic.
Please react to Awaken by Stray Kids the song also has a lot of rock influences
Guerrilla is my favorite song of Ateez so far
About ATEEZ concept: Actually, 'The world' isn't their new concept, it's rather a continuation of their lore and concept. They've been running the same lore, story and concept since debut. The three released series, their light stick, fandom name, their Kingdom performances and the fact that they call HongJoong 'captain' and not 'leader' its all connected in the same lore/storyline 😉 ATEEZ is the kpop group with The most worked through and detailed concept 😉😁
Thunderous ⚡⚡⚡🌀🌀🌀
guerrilla is a perfect song, eden did not come to play with that one. ateez is a tough act to follow, but maverick is one of my favorite tbz comebacks. i was so excited to hear the reaction, thank you for including them! she's the boss by the boyz would be another great one to see, lots of heavy hitting production paired with airy vocal bridges.
she’s really good with explaining
The Thunderous video refers to the goblin folklore in Korea, including the blue flame.
I Love Ateez !!!!!!! they aren't afraid to try something new.
you definitely need to react to Black Cat Nero by Ateez it’s so good has a lot of metal and different genres!!!!! 🥰❤❤❤❤
Omg react to the whole album please. I swear you'll gonna love that. All tracks are amazing!
OMG. Thanks to this video I just found out that The Boyz's Maverick song popped up on my UA-cam a while ago as an ad and I never noticed it was them. Holy moly-😂
Guys, btw the cityscape background that spells out Guerrilla is actually inspired/meant to resemble the 1927 film "Metropolis"!
I like how everyone on this channel who she shows kpop videos too is always really respectfully towards the artists:)
Anything by the boyz is always amazing, their come back is great
Thank you for ATEEZ reaction
Chris is helping me realize things I never have in these mv’s 😂
our stray kids
The Boyz 🔥🔥
SHOW HIM MORE ATEEZ I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM REACT TO INCEPTION, or DEJA VU
So much knowledge from you guys and all those little details which I would never find out by myself 🤯🤯 It was really interesting and fun to watch ❤️ I can recommend you Xdinary Heroes, their music is so cool and the new album definitely has no skips!
Have him check out Xdinary Hero’s new album! They are a band group!
Thank you for react to The Boyz !! 😊😊
Ateez. I don't think you realize how happy i am now. I'm happy to see that they nailed a new style. Its their first time trying this and it was just so well done. And hearing a metal singer liking it and showing recognition is just the best.
Stray kids fire 🔥
Ateez has had a concept since their debut... You should see their debut song... It doesn't sound like a debut song... Ateez albums slap
Thanks for the reaction💜
ateez is amazing is perfect is beautiful flames voice song ❤❤❤👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷✌✌🇧🇷🇧🇷
All three groups are amazing. But Guerilla and Thunderous are two favorites of me at the moment.
If you did not already watched EXOs Mama (their debut 2012), I would recommend that as well. They also have a little bit Metal in it and they also have a Metal Version.
if you want catchy, try cyberpunk by ateez. that whole industrial thing going for it is soooo gooood
ATEEZ ATE THAT
THUNDEROUS 🔥🔥🔥
About Thunderous, the blue flame is connected to the folklore about korean goblins or bad spirits. That's why the name in Koreak is 소리꾼 which they translated as Thunderous for a better understanding by the foreigners. From what i know, those goblins posses the blue flame and cause mischief. If you see them it's bad luck or even worse, so they're dangerous and should not be messed with. At the end, Felix' hands light up with those blue flames just to show they're the 소리꾼
