- In early December 2021, BDO account holders both living in the Philippines and even OFWs abroad, woke up to find out that they lost around 50,000 pesos due to a sophisticated hack. Their money was transferred to a Unionbank account under the name "Mark Nagoyo".

When it comes to cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection… Huli na talaga sa Pilipinas in spite of napakadami nating IT professionals (ksi OFW na lahat, brain drain… send pa more). Kahit nga mga government offices gamit na email is gmail or yahoo… Napaka prone sa anonymity and social hacking… Just last week down ng 1 day ang PSE… Pero wala lang, ni hindi man lang na highlight sa balita (kasi hindi showbiz)… But in reality billion ang nalugi dun…

Great content! IMO, there’s a reason I don’t use BDO, and this video shows just explains why.

Sabi sa news nangyari pang hahack nung nag uupdate si bdo ng security system or kung ano man inupdate nila. May oras kasi na vulnerable daw. Sabi din inimbestigahan nila kung may inside job kasi alam na alam ng nga hackers kung kelan sila papasok at alam nila na mag uupdate nila.
Siguro may dahilan kung bakit BDO ang tinarget at hindi ang ibang malalaking bangko sa bansa
