I was at a funeral yesterday so I was emotional anyway, but I was genuinely devastated when I saw the news of Coop’s sacking. I think it is a terrible mistake, and while I hope Steve goes on to amazing things, I pray he comes back to us at some point. Just really, really sad about this. He loved Forest and loved Nottingham as well. Won’t see his like again for a while
What Mr Cooper achieved in such a short, short time is nothing short of a miracle. I've been a Forest fan since late seventies, so have seen plenty of good and not so good times and this guy definitely brought back the very good. I'm sure there was plenty that went on behind closed doors that we will never know and Steve being the man he is will never discuss, but building a team to get promoted, have it torn apart, then have that massive influx of players and create a togetherness that kept the club up and then once again be asked to do it again with another major influx of players, well I'm not sure even Mr Clough could've managed that. The modern game is a ruthless and selfish business world in which Cooper stood tall on his believes and gave every part of himself to make our club a success. He will forever have my gratitude and I'm sure had he been given the time that unfortunately this modern era very rarely seems to allow would've turned it around. I wish you well Mr Cooper ❤
One man rebuilt Nottingham Forest to where it is today. One man restored the pride and connection between all parties at the club. His tenure was cut short due to results but the fan connection will never be ended. Wish him all the success at his next club.

He taken Forest from rock bottom of e table in e championships to e PL....and a quarter final in FA cup n a semi final spot in League cup..Sad that he was sacked becos of this season bad results...l never seen a coach who was sacked but was still love by so many fans!!! Dun know is it a correct decision to get Nuno to replace him....but he will be always miss by Forest fans...not a Forest fan but still feel sad he was sacked...Hope he will find a new club soon...
