Seeing sam do the quick knife slice to the throat or the backstab was usual in the older games when you wanted to go lethal... so seeing sam get more dirty and direct with his kills was certainly a treat for this game!
I noticed that in Splinter Cell Conviction the damage that each enemy takes to the face is shown in great detail and realistically (not just in the interrogations), unlike in Blacklist where the damage from melee attacks to the face is non-existent. In fact, it is the only game in which I noticed this effect, in other games the face shows no visible damage.
Man modern games don't have one third of the efforts and awesomeness these older games had. Like dynamic environmental executions and huge amount of combat animations that never get old.
I know, right. Many developers and publishers stopped caring when the PlayStation 4 and XBOX ONE were launched back in late 2013. I've noticed a degradation in quality.
I love that in most of these take downs with the pistol is you can see Sam targets/controls the arm that holds the pistol or just controls the weapons barrel as he takes them down, preventing the enemies from getting a shot off. I love the 3rd one in the pistol showcase where he just grabs the gun out of the guys hand
Makes me remember how i've gotten into martial arts. Ah, the memories. Would like to have The Bourne Conspiracy from ya, too. Great quality, keep it up pal
Good old days when Sam was still able to use his pistol for single enemy gun fu takedowns. I'll never understand why blacklist only gave you that option for mark & execute.
My favorite game from the franchise. Seeing all this lethal animations (especially the neck attacks, hearing those snap noises, so beautiful). I know hardcores Splinter Cell fans hate this game because lacks from the first trilogy dynamic but for me, a more quiet fan, thanks to this game I saw the physicology of Sam Fisher, we not only see the soldier that used to follow orders from Third Echelon but also a father searching for the truth about what happened to his daughter, his only blood and going into a rampage to get answers and to see the once you considered you an ally now is hunting you like an animal. I love how this game show us that is not the gadgets that made Sam legendary, but his skills of survival, also love that those krav maga moves got more showed in this game since in the first two novel books he use a lot of the martial art. I hope to play this game once again one of this days (I used to have it on my Xbox One console, but unfortunately my console got damaged).😭😭😭😭😭🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🫶🫶🫶🫶💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤

Nice observation! Back when they weren't ubishit. Also, Batman Arkham Knight has this detail too as well as RDR2 and TLOU new gen.

Despite the criticism from long time fans, this was and still is a banger of a game.
Yeah, it just should bot have been named splinter cell

Thanks for the suggestion 😉
The atmosphere in SCC is untouchable! Back to the good old days of Ubisoft!
Back when Ubisoft actually gave a shit and Tom Clancy wasn’t rolling in his grave
Those gun whips can really hurt and cause concussions. Getting hit like that is like a brick or a metal bat swung at you
some of the most badass animations ubisoft ever put out
Good content man. clean and concise🙌
Thank you! 🥰

I like how she finished the job
i swear i remember sam shooting reed in the shoulders instead of punching him
edit: there it is
The thing abou older Splinter Cell is, in 1:29, Fisher would respond with "Not quite."
John Wick mode begins at 1:29.
Didn't even know he could do all that💀

0:16 is my favorite
1:08 happens if you're unarmed as well, afaik.
For someone reason i remember this game looking better, but the models are honestly kinda ugly
Probably looked fine for their time and just aged poorly
I had the same feeling with call of duty 3
Still looks great aside from some gross lighting colours and a few strange-looking character models
