- So another malice bossfight tutorial. Polterghast has by far been the most rigged boss i've fought so far. This boss truly tests your dodging skills as each damage dealt deals over 20% of your health per hit. maybe even 50% from the charging impact. In this video, I will show you how to dodge and defeat this boss. Hope you enjoy this tutorial and good luck!

Honestly the thing i find most infuriating is the movement prediction. It feels like if I dodge a millisecond too early, Polterghast just decides "You know what? Fuck you." and just goes straight at me instead of his normal trajectory.
Ye thats why staying still before it charges does the trick. The AI got improved which is programmed to predict potential patterns which is why one of them goes ahead of you when you move earlier
@@FadedX312 I am glad they've changed some bosses, I enjoy the increased difficulty of fake calamitas and the new Ceaseless Void
@@alexc.4909 i agree on the calamitas improvement. Ceaseless void tho no.. the bossfight is just weird

Why did you choose Empyrean Armour over Tarragon? Is there are special effect?

Oh i see. Uhhhh because empyrean focuses fully on rogue so it boosts rogue abilities or something

@@Epsilon-- congrats. Also to get this straight this video was made when calamity 1.5 just released so it had the oldest boss mechanisms. I did a playthrough with friends on the newer calamity 1.5 and it did indeed change
