My first time ever dropping a knee was at a NATO tele fest at MRG (2005, I think it was). I live between the Wasatch and Uinta mountains now, so on balance I think it was a good trade, but I do miss the Glen. Seeing those guys playing around in Paradise (and watching skis dangling by the toes going up the single chair) really has me feeling nostalgic. I’m now a full convert. I don’t even own an alpine setup right now, but I have one 75mm and three NTN setups currently!
Bless you for uploading this. My last run was four years ago, my first, thirty-three, on Killington’s snowshed. Was skiing the black diamonds by end of day. Never went back to alpine. Been looking at tele videos on UA-cam recently. Things have changed. New NTN gear, etc. Lots of stuff filmed out west but I’m in Vermont so this video is AWESOME! May I say, if you can ski the east, you can ski anywhere. I won’t be getting out this year, but I swear I shall next year. I’ll be seventy then and I’ve got something to prove…to myself. Thanks again folks. r.i.p. NATO ❤️
13:35 ok, that guy doing the switch jump-turns on the steeps… I have never seen that before. I had to immediately go back and check and see if I was seeing that right!
Hi guys. I just stumbled upon your channel searching for telemark content. I'm just curious to know when were your longer videos filmed (you don't provide year or credits). Judging by the 4:3 format and lower quality it's old stuff right? Is it like a history/roots of modern telemark skiing?
Hey Peter! Glad you found us. We'll try and get some more credits on there. Some of these more vintage videos we may have to do some more digging as they are from the 80s. Thx for watching.

Great choice of song. Good double entendre.
Since tele is a dance, that is what we do… we “go down, swinging.”
