- This is a wonderful and informal occasion and is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some hymns and organ music, and for you to meet people who have similar interests.
And it's week 3 of the Isaac Watts World Cup - time to find out what is the world's most popular hymn written by Isaac Watts, and there are many! This week we enter the Round of 16.
32 hymns were submitted into the competition by my audience, and each week we'll have a live vote to see which hymns make it through to the next round.

I live near Vancouver and second Caroline's recommendation regarding the Sea to Sky Highway. When you do finally come here, I can put you in touch with the local RCCO chapter and get you access to some wonderful pipe organs.
What a fun sample set! At 1:23:01 you can hear the tremulant mechanism brought on in preparation for the Trumpet solo (subtle wuhff-wuhff-wuhff-wuhff). Then at 1:23:28 you can hear the console "whump" as many registers are simultaneously changed.

Wonderful Grace of Jesus is a popular gospel song in America played in every church with a piano and organ duet - great memories. You don’t remember but you have played it before on BIS.
When I played piano as a kid, the tune for God Save the King/ My Country ‘tis of thee was one of the first tunes I learned.

I had to watch on catchup, but I wanted to offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers to Brion on the most recent family loss. It is never easy to lose anyone we love...remember that to be absent from the body is to be present with Our Lord. May the faithfully departed rest in peace and rise in the glory of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ++
