Same. I have an irrational phobia that I'll look over at my window and see someone peeking in at me. Or just staring.
I used to live in the middle of the city, and it's just the norm to have curtains because people pass by all the time.
I moved to the countryside, and you'd think my phobia of someone peaking would be lessened, right? No, somehow it's worse lol.
I love how you can make even a normal (or as normal as Fallbrook can be) stroll on the island so entertaining! You're awesome!!

So I also went a long time without hanging curtains because power tools- go to walmart/target and get a tension rod. Literally so easy and theres no worry about the wall being damaged.
Thanks for talking about your college pandemic experience, mine was similar! I had to drop my senior year bc I was being charged the same amount for the online zoom classes as I was for in person. I was not gonna do my biochem labs at home in my fridge while working my full time “essential” job.

To my knowledge they don't give a gift back if the value of the item is below a certain amount of bells. And more expensive gifts will typically get furniture, flooring or wallpaper in return. I could be wrong though, lol. But, I've noticed when I gift cheaper items they don't give me a gift back. I guess they have expensive tastes lol

I’ve been thinking of this too, i was disappointed with a lot if stuff in acnh (that’s my bad for being a nostalgia freak) and hope i won’t be disappointed with the new game. I personally really want more villager interactions in the next game for it to feel more alive.
@@inevitablissI think for ACNH its kinda a weird situation. It came out in a weird and stressful time, and the team is the same as the team for splatoon, so they have been busy with that a lot. So I hope its an expection because of those things, and not a new trend of the new games missing some important and even just tiny stuff that would make them even better. I do still love the game but i agree some things about it are dissapointing, especially pre 2.0.
And yes i really hope for good villagers in the next game, even if they cant be mean and rude anymore...at least make them interesting!:"D That has been an issue before acnh too tho, people always say acnh made them boring..nah they've been a bit boring for a while now.
In the next game they should add a portable green box item where you can put bushes, flowers, trees, ect. It could be like the storage box, but for plants! (Or Nintendo could just let us put them in normal storage) but if they made the item cute that'd be cool

I visited fallbrook through a dream address and got stuck and had to call emergency services lol
you can install a curtain rod pretty easy (source: ive done it. badly, but ive done it) but for a quick fix you can also just wall staple the curtains around the window itself. youre not getting your security deposit back no matter what you do so you may as well do whatever the hell you want
During the pandemic, I worked...a lot. Retail, so yeah, I know. It was still horrible though. We didn't have Internet at home, so every morning before I went to work, I had to drive to the closed library with my four kids and mooch of the free WiFi for school. It was cold, and half the time, the tablet or the zoom classes didn't work. Because half of the kids homework just *had* to be online...
I *never* want to go back to that time again.

After watching you for a while, I'd suggest another island viewing. One of the vids where you go to other people's Island, and tour them, (I could not remember the word tour). You seem to get a lot of inspiration from those, and it's what ends up driving you to start your redecoration.
