At 75 years old, I decided to go to 3 wheels a few years ago and purchased a Freewheeler.

Hey bro..thats awesome...It was actually very easy to do...I know sometimes watching a video makes it look easier than it really is but this is one of those times it was super easy to do. Vector makes it almost effortless to be honest. This fella here I put it on for loves the fairing.
I decide to run one of these on my 08 roadking, great material, super easy install, infinity head unit with Fosgate speakers, great investment!!!

The installation was exactly the way I installed a Reckless batwing fairing on my '17 Road King.
I went with Reckless because they paint to match.
Right on! Yeah there were several it seems to choose form on the market. I think it turned out pretty cool!

I’m still in a hold out On going to 3 wheels. I know at some point it going to happen! I would prefer to go to the trike but with this option it’s more affordable on the freewheel platform and still have a faring!
Chronic pain my whole right side for 10 years now (car accident on the interstate) & diagnosed on June 9th stage 4 lung cancer, it’s spread to bone cancer in my hip, pelvis & spine!
There is no cure or remission it’s just whack-a-mole!
My other option is to convert my 2014 street glide special to three wheels! I just rebuilt it after being rear ended last November! I still have a few things left to finish it off!
Like Boom audio stage II 2 up rear amp not connected correctly!
I installed so Harley won’t help!
I think it’s some kind of daisy-chain amp to amp that I’m missing!

I got one for my 2015 freewheeler, love it. Easy to put on, hooked up the power the radio sounds great. It took 8 days to get it from vector. Thumbs up from me. Awesome.
Thats awesome Craig..this was done on a buddy of mines freewheeler and we added a crash bar and lower leg fairings with more speakers and he loves it. I thought it would make for a great video after I saw how easy it was to installTakes the guess work out if anyone is on the fence about getting one.
Great to see you back on here brother...THANK GOD you got rid of that "creepy" break in segment on your videos where you come rolling in lookun like something out of a slasher movie!!! The faring definitely gave the Trike a totally different attitude.
Head on youde think it was a tri glide....
Only thing is...you forgot the torque specs putting the tank back on and you forgot to put the lower fork farings back on but Im thinking the cust. Didnt want them put back..
Thanks for checking it out..and yes with the ABS lower fairings you cannot run the little wings on the forks..they will hit when you turn. I often forget torque specs in my videos...I always think about it and then forget..ill add them in the description.
I got a 2015 freewheeler I also put a vector fairing on. Super easy and the radio sounds great. It took 8 days to get it.👍

Good-Day: Steve; Since Harley came out with the Road-Glide 3 and Revamped the Freewheeler. Is there a SharkHead Fairing for the Freewheeler. HAVE A BLESS DAY....
I dont really know any offhand that look exactly like the shark nose but there is a company called WEDGE that makes some that are more square but still has a round headlight..thats about the only one i know of
Enjoyed your videos very informing. My question is i am put the Vector Batwing Fairing on my 2018 Freewheeler and can't fine an accessory switched connection at fuse box. Using a relay so the power will shut off when bike switch is turned off. Where can i connect to a switched wire to signal the relay?
Not sure right off hand..get a cheap test light and start poking wires..thats how I would find one.
Did this to my 2015 Harley freewheeler went with the hoppy's kit it had kicker 6x9s and touch screen I would play music videos for parking lot pimp points wish I had never sold it LoL 😎🇺🇸🇨🇱

We did this on my buddies freewheeler and it is still on there. He loves it. super nice fairing easy install but it only comes in vivid black....so you would need to get it painted somewhere near you to match your bike.
Definitely what I was looking for. I really dig the freewheeled but had no tunes, til now!

SIK what is the cost for parts & labor to install a min-fairing with infotainment system? I was comparing the 2023 Freewheeler and RG3 Trike black which is $ 4100 difference
you're probably looking at about 2000 for the upgrade but you have to remember those have a more rigid fairing than this style. That being said, there is nothing wrong with this style but its not the same...just something to chew on.

Can you compare this to the reckless fairing? Vector does not make a fairing without the speaker cutouts. My other option that I’ve been looking at is the reckless fairing. Thoughts on that one
Hey...I dont have a reckless fairing to compare it to on video but ive heard great things about them as well. They are ranked up there with the Vector fairings. I wouldnt be worried ordering from them.

Only thing I'd change if I was Vector would be to run a switched wire to the headunit so you don't need the on off switch itself, like a normal radio.
you could do that pretty easy by just cutting the switch wire and adding it to a switched wire. thank you for watching!

They are listed as fitting 15 to present but I would give them a call in case the website just inst updated 864-559-8565

Has anyone with a Freewheeler checked to see if their mpg changed. I ride to bike rallys, last one 2023 Sturgis about 3900 miles so with this type of batwing its important to me to know about mpg. Normal mpg with oem 17" detachable windshield is about 42 mpg up to 75mph or so.
How much did that whole fairing come to? speakers and all....and did it come witha a fuel gauge?
no there is no fuel gauge and im not sure on the cost..the customer purchased it and had me install it..please just give vector a call and they will tell you as there are several different set ups
I SEE THAT THIS BIKE HAS AN ELECTRIC SHIFTER . DID YOU INSTALL IT ? DO THEY VOID THE HARLEY WARRANTY ?
No I did not install this one...however the system is really easy to hook up. Ive heard nothing about it voiding warranties either. It literally just moves your shifter rod and shifts the bike. Plus no aftermarket mod will blanket void your warranty. Different areas of the bike might be voided but not the whole warranty ...no reason this should void anything though.
@@sikbaggers thanks, im looking into a setup like that. I lost my left leg due to an aneurysm 2 years ago. Im pretty good at getting around with my prosthetic leg but i cant shift up & down. Thanks again for your help. Also i found the video very helpful with the batwing installation .
@@timothysharp2660 Hey Timothy...its the Pingel shifter here www.pingelonline.com/electric-shifter-kits/77901-electric-speed-shifter-kit-h-d-fl-2007-2014-tri-glide-2009-2014.asp not sure on your year but this is the one that's installed on this bike. This guy is in the same situation and loves it. There are complete directions on the install and I have contacted them before via phone with questions and they always answer and was a great help. Pretty good system as far as I can tell. I disconnected the battery for the audio upgrades and then it wouldnt shift...I contacted them just to find out that you have to hold down the shift button for 10 seconds to re engage it after disconnecting the battery. Pretty simple but I was stressing I messed something up lol

Asked the owner and he doesnt know...it came that way when he bought it used...i looked online too see if i could find them...I do know they are stick on and not strap on bras...and they are thick. Sorry I cannot help you more on that

I have a Harley 10” replacement windshield on my 2020 Street Glide. Will this same windshield fit on this fairing?
It will take any windshield made for to 2013 and older batwing fairings.

so my Harley dealership is telling me my 2016 freewheeler does not support the weight of a batwing faring because of the rack. said it damages the neck bushing I think BS. I have a Hoppe batwing. that I want to put on.
put it on....tons of people run a after market fairing on their bike...i swear i hear some of the dumbest stuff from harley dealerships. lol It mounts to the windshield bolts which is mounted to the entire front of the bike...its the same front end as a street glide...so why would it not support it? lol run it steve! Youll be fine
they are lying to you I was a parts and did all the ad ons for new bike customers sold several hoppe fairings foe freewheeler the ony time there was a issue hoppe didn't work with passing lamp kits at the time but we're working on it I have since retired

They are 6.5" speakers

I'd hate to buy n them not fitting.
@@israelcampos996 negative your hd is wrong. 2013 and older are 5.2 ...14 and up are 6.5. All speakers 14 and up are 6.5 in fairing and lower fairings.

Advanblack says they don’t make anything for Freewheeler.
Techically they dont. The lower fairing technically wont work because you have to modify the steering stabilizer mount to add the engine guard. Modifying the stabilizer is done at your own risk.
