Dude that was INCREDIBLE I just started learning to edit a couple weeks ago and seeing this just got me so excited for all the things I can do with DaVinci Resolve I've never been more excited to be a UA-camr
Brilliant, easy to follow and cool as always. What more can I say. Keep it up! You are currently my favorite channel to learn fusion fx from. Having 2 different levels of tutorials inside one is pretty cool imo
Absolute Fusion noob here (this is my 1st VFX project), thank you for the awesome video! Just wanted to ask, I'm using the first method and need to fire two lasers in quick succession. I followed all the steps for the 1st laser and it works great. For the second laser I then selected all the nodes and copy pasted them as a separate identical group of nodes, but it's not working as intended. I'm guessing that some nodes should be copied and added to the first group of nodes, but I'm not sure where to start. What am I missing? Thanks in advance. EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. I just duplicated everything within the MediaIn and MediaOut nodes, and adjusted the timing for the second set.
Hey Mr.Nomad! Do you think you can do a tutorial on the BLADE Vampire burn to skeleton then ash effect in Davinci? Thanks for all these videos, your channel is fantastic!
I'm sure you've figured it out after 6 months (or given up) but the transform node settings are your friend. Just make sure you have it selected and change your X and Y values along with using your key frames. Good luck!
I'm sure you've figured it out after 12 months (or given up) but the transform node settings are your friend. Just make sure you have it selected and change your X and Y values along but use your key frames to determine at what point in time the laser should be on and off the screen. Good luck!
Productioncrate has a free account, which is the one I use. If you make an account, it should be free by default. You only upgrade to pro if you want to. The free account lets you download any asset that doesn't have a star by its name, which is about a third of their library (which is still a ton).
You do not have to pay, the features required for the tutorial are in the free version of resolve, and the paid version isn't a supscription it's a one time payment
UA-cam Recommend me this video after 1 year but this was a masterpiece .

That's awesome! It really is exciting what Davinci can do!
this is just amazing. Keep them coming brother! God bless
Incredible video bro❤
1:51 I think adjusting the sample spread can also make the blur less harsh.
Just used this for one of my animations. Amazing work.

Man , these tutorials are my favorite !!! your end results are always superior to other DVR vfx .. keep them coming
Beginner and advanced are cool format. If you could explain more about sliders (what it does) that will be great, but that depends on you.
i like the 2in 1 tutorials, they fit. please keep doing them! there's so little DVR tutorials for vfx
You re a freaking genius! Really great tips for all Kinds of use cases.
Great tutorial! I loved the second method - very cool stuff.
Dude...... Killing it. 8-). I like the new beginner and advance methods.
That's excactly what I was looking for!
is there a LOVE button! I love how you explained this, it made it easy for me to understand!
Hey, great tutorial. Just what I needed for my logo intro idea.
this is beautiful
I love this effect, thanks!!!
Wow, awesome tutorial. Thank you so much
Hello, thanks for the video, you know how to duplicate the nodes to put it into another frame??
Thank you, helped me a lot :)
This video is useful. I ma using the beginner method, but how can I make laser shoots from multiple parts at the same time?
very good, but i can't change the steering angle to another side
Excellent
thank you so much ^^ ❤❤❤❤❤
it's better this way, you can even do longer videos ;)
i LIKE IT!

I can look into it
does this need to be repeated every time the weapon fires or is there a way to just copy paste, so to speak?
You can copy and paste then make adjustments to match the shot.
I can't figure out how to select the laser to move it off of the screen after moving ahead a few frames. 🤷
I'm sure you've figured it out after 6 months (or given up) but the transform node settings are your friend. Just make sure you have it selected and change your X and Y values along with using your key frames. Good luck!
1:30 when I drag the laser of the screen, the laser doesn’t move when I play the video. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much but the vfx effect is not free anymore you have to pay a subricption unfortunately ...

This tutorial went at the speed of calling a horse race. Hardly adequate as a teaching tool.
I have this highly advanced feature on UA-cam called a pause button. You should look into it.
use pause and rewind. You can also slow down the playback settings if that helps.
great tutorial... i just realized that i can do everything with that fast noise node....
