- If you're looking for non-traditional things to do on your next visit to Oahu, might we recommend visiting the Bishop Museum. Talk about a great way to learn about Hawaii's history and culture, the Bishop museum was so engaging that we stayed in Hawaiian Hall Building for over 3 hours. We accidentally missed the Sports hall of fame, quickly visited the Backyard Adventures, and then explored more in the Science center and the Planetarium where they had a lot of interactive exhibits.
Visiting a museum may not be on your to do list when planning to visit a tropical paradise, but this on probably should be!
Another non-traditional thing to do is visit Iolani Palace, the home of the Hawaiian monarchy, want to learn more, here is the link to our Iolani Palace UA-cam video: • Iolani Palace/Hawaiian...

Loved that hanging whale and the interactive portions of the museum. Our son would have LOVED that volcano when he was younger. We never heard of this museum either and it looks like it is worth checking out on our next trip.
Definitely, it doesn’t look like much when you pull up, but it was so incredible! Thanks for watching!
Looks like a very pretty and educational place to visit! It is cool to understand the history behind the places you are exploring. Wow you weren't kidding, so much to see and learn!

Love seeing some of the Hawaiian history from the museum, some beautiful artifacts too! The science center had some fun interactive areas, reminded me of our science city museum but with Hawaiian theming! 💕 Love the Maui hook necklaces and pretty wood decor!
Thanks for coming with us! We were in such awe of the Hawaiian history and loved the every minute of the Bishop Museum!
Very cool museum. It looks like they have a lot of interesting exhibits and hands on interactivitiy. We will have to check it out some day when we visit Hawaii ethically and respectfully. Thanks for taking us along!

Thanks for watching! It was a great way to learn more about the Hawaiian history!
Nice share idol new👍🤜🤛🔔🙏🔙
Thanks for watching!
Love this Hawaii series. It’s nice to have locals who can help you know where to go. Melissa wanted to stay also when we went to Hawaii.
Everything looked like Moana scene. Little Rosalie would like that kids area. This place is huge. Planetarium is more my thing. Aloha!!!
They had something for everyone! Though I would have had to leave the Hawaiian hall much earlier if my girls would have been there!
We are so grateful for all of our recommendations!!! Thanks for watching!
ini museum yang luar biasa,,,
Thanks for watching!
watching here. have a nice day
Thanks so much!
This looks like a very nice museum!! Hawaii has so much to see and do!! Would be cool to see it sometime especially after learning from u guys of it!! ❤😊
Hawaii is so full of amazing things, I understand why people want to stay when they visit! Hope you get to go sometime! Thanks Kritika!
Ohh I went here too! I never got around to editing the museum, but yes, I love it there. Very multicultural, and a lot of history you can learn! Yes there was definitely a lot to see.. when we went there were dinosaur displays instead of that backyard one. Looks cool though.. good stuff guys!
The dinosaur exhibit sounds fun! I felt like this was a hard video to do because there was so much to cover. Maybe you'll have to go back and do a video! Thanks for watching!
Hey fam here still tuned in
😊😊😊😊😊
Omg Hawaii😍❤️ you know what...Hawaii is One of my Dream Place to Visit😝🙌 The Museum is Absolutely STUNNING💗✨ This video makes me Want to go to Hawaii like right now😭😂 I absolutely Love this Tour💛
We loved this museum and Hawaii too! Hope you get to visit! Thanks for watching!
Great stuff! I would easily stay 3 hours in a place like that. The Rugged Mountain Siblings usually hurry me along and by the time we leave I've only looked at maybe 20% of what I wanted to.
This was really nice that it was just Justin and I , the girls would have hurried us through too! I was so enthralled with all the history! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for helping promote the Bishop Museum. As a heads up, i is pronounced as EE in the Hawaiian language so Iolani Palace is pronounced E-O-Lani. The i at the beginning is pronounced the same as the one at rhe end 😊
Thanks so much for the correction, we will make sure in the future we say it correctly. We loved visiting!
I have to say that I didnt know Hawaii has a state museum. I always thought its just one big island. HAHA. I learned something new today. HAHAHA. LIKE 5.
I'm glad we could let you know about this great museum! Such cool artifacts! Thanks for watching!
