his voice changed a lot over the years but his potential and talent was always there since day1..im thankful he switched to rock because his voice wouldnt have been push to its potential or get emphasized if he stayed singing boy group songs

Wow Taka used to be one of the vocal pillars with Tegoshi and Massu. NEWS really had all the best JE vocalists then! Plus he looked cute! The casting managers at JE must have seen potential in him to be an idol, but I guess the idol life was not for him. He preferred rock and having his own creative freedom!!
