Wow this was a really creative idea! Also the set for frogger looked like it took a long time to make!
Very entertaining! You did a great job at keeping the story going and not letting anything drag out longer than it needed to. Like the others have said, creative use of the microfigures! Switching between the large set and miniatures was not confusing, which is good! Sometimes these things can be hard to get right. One thing for improvement would be to set your camera to manual focus (really everything on the camera should be set to manual: white balance, aperture, focus, etc). It was a bit distracting when the focus of the camera would switch between the foreground and background. Also, be careful what you are focusing on and pay attention to the minimum focusing distance of your camera. If you try to focus on your minifigure but he is too close, closer than the minimum focusing distance, then he will still be out of focus even if your camera is set to manual. To remedy this, just move the camera further away from the figure and enlarge the image in post-production. That's really my only big piece of advice. There's always little things that can be improved, but some of it just comes with practice. You did a good job with the sound and editing. It was a creative story idea! I'm actually working on a video game themed brickfilm too. It's about the game Super Bomberman. Glad you didn't have that game in your video otherwise it would look like I was copying you! Hopefully I'll be ready to share it next week. All in all, you did great work here. I can tell you put a lot of time in it, and it paid off! I subbed and turned on notifications, so hopefully I will know when you release your next stuff. Can't wait!
Thanks! I put a lot of hard work into this video, but I have one thing to say, for me, it is hard to set it on manual focus. My camera has wifi and I use a remote camera on my iPod and it doesn't have enough options to do manual focus. I tried to use monkey Jam and other apps, but my camera would connect to the app as the sub was in the computer. Do you know why this is?
+Ian'sBrick Studio Hmm, I don't use that program so I'm not sure why it isn't working. Even if you can't get manual focus, keep making videos because you are talented and make great stuff!
+Plastic Planet Productions Okay, thanks! I understand why it won't work, maybe because it's not an EOS or DLSR, but, I'll stick with what I have! And remember, always feel free to check back for upcoming videos and events! Thanks for the help!
