Hello ladies, good video, I have a house in Talisay city 25 minutes from CEBU CITY with my Filipina wife , I am from Norwich UK and spend around 6 months in Cebu and 6 months in the UK, I was teaching TEFL in China/Shanghai and Korea I am a qualified teacher, but do not teach much now, that was a few years ago, I hope you liked Cebu, I have lived in a few places in the Philippines, but I have to say I have found Cebu the best, and the most friendliest people and very safe also in Cebu...anytime you ladies are in Cebu and want to see Talisay city we have a six bedroom house , your most welcome with British and Filipino foods...kind Regards.
We do some charity work for homeless children, I hate to see the kids sleeping in dirty streets.
    Kind Regards from Ray

Canyoneering is the highlight of any Cebu trip. You will be jumping off and traversing what are called canyons. The trail is picturesque and the experience is truly unforgettable. 😊

Marwan Masir , thanks for appreciating my beloved Philippines 🇵🇭😍 I am soo inlove to your country too.. Me and my husband visited Kuala Lumpur and Cameron Highland last year and we both love to stay there longer but sadly we had fixed all our itinerary both for Malaysia and Singapore that time, so we didn’t have other choices but to fly to the next destination.

travel by ferry - smart and wise choice. Cebu City - super friendly peepz. greet some folks there proactively "Kumusta kayo" means how are you? or "Maayong Buntag" means good morning. just stay within the city area. try the dried mango there. check the apps for accommodation. i forgot that apps. instead of booking a hotel. best of luck and wishing an enjoyable travel.

Oh dear, two Brit princesses on an island hopping trek. My advise as a fellow Brit, get out of the city as fast as you could as life is calling. Seize the moment and start right now. And in the next few days and get ready with your swimming attire, you ladies can arrange your itineraries and travel to the four corners from where you are right now. Here is my suggestion 1) Go south to Bohol then head on to Siquijor, 2) And from there then travel to Dumaguete where you'll be able to discover there are a sizeable presence of expats ( truckload of Brits too) plus consider going to Apo Islands and Manjuyod sandbar amongst others, 3) Head then to Cebu from Sibulan ( Dumaguete ) to Lilo-an Santander (Cebu) where if you plan to stay overnight then consider staying in this Eden Resort where you can sit in a veranda and sipping tea whilst watching the sun set down plus stargazing later on and more , 3) And from there check if your schedules can fit into going for Oslob plus Moalboal and Bantayan Islands, 4) On your last leg if you still were not knackered, consider taking one more last trip to Samar/Leyte if not Siargao. And there you go mates, then you can digress in sublime thought with this quote "leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures and videos".

metro manila is a huge sprawling capital. you did a good choice by making makati as your base for exploration. old manila has more genuine charms but it also has its poverty and petty crimes. Places like makati, bgc, most parts of QC, marikina, pasig, las pinas, alabang are more tourist friendly than the old capital of manila. Makati is my favorite part of the capital especially poblacion. You really did a good job covering my beloved city of manila. thanks and mabuhay!

And i like that you are going to unconventional places for foreign tourists and doing a practical (or small budget) spending. I must remind you though that not all Filipinos are truthful. There's always 1 (or 2) out of 10 that is opportunists. Please be on the safe side always. You are a very lovely couple. I would really hate for any untoward incidents happening to you. Go & visit the city tours first to feel Cebu City, go to Basilica De Minore the Sto. Nino Chruch then the Magellan Cross nearby then proceed to Fort San Pedro ( Spanish Fort ) then from there go to Taoist Temple, then Temple of Lea then proceeed to Tops. So our full day is consumed then rest the next day go malling in SM Seaside or Ayala Mall or SM City Cebu . Then start going to countryside to Kawasan Falls go Canyoneering then go to Oslob for the whale shark 1st. If you still have time go to the North in Bantayan Island lots of islands there to visit & enjoy .... Good luck & enjoy your stay in Cebu

SM Seaside Mall, Ayala mall are both in Cebu City. You can zip line on top of this hotel. Forgot the damn name. Taoist temple and temple of Leah is also great to visit. Osmena Peak is a good trekking place also.

Nice experience... I used to love travelling on ferries but I can never justify it these days... Air Asia from Manila to Cebu is only GBP 28 and takes just over an hour.... you have breakfast head to the airport and you are in Cebu before lunch...

Not in our case. It was going to cost £50 one way per person. This not including baggage. Plus we would have had to have paid for a hotel for that night. We saved over £100 for sure. It just depends on how cheap the flights are. Being prepared is always better but not always possible 👍

@@BeerForBreakfast ok yes I understand if you don't book in advance air tickets can be expensive but ferry tickets are generally the same price closer to departure day. Great experience anyway and you got to cruise through all those beautiful islands.
You will have 50k in no time travelling in the Philippines, they really support travellers on youtube that showcase their great country.
Poor Justina will be eating that Belut next week.....lol

One day and Fort San Pedro, Magellans Cross and the Basilica are all in one walkable area. The Temple of Leah is really worth a look but if you are going there go to Tops lookout first---even have lunch there and then the Temple on the way back. The Cebu Taoist Temple is magnificent but dont go there too late in the day ---it is in the Beverly Hills Sub Division and the Barangay gates close in the late afternoon not allowing access. Colon Street is the place to shop, but watch your wallet and belongings
