Tbh, I knew nothing of him as I am just normie turned casual player for FGO. But as a gundam fan, that NP certainly compelled me to roll him one day in NA eventhough I'm an F2P that's satisfied with my 3* servants.
In my case, I thought of funnel at first rather than Freedom's detached beams. But upon looking at it more, yeah----definitely looked more like Freedom's beam than funnel. LoL
@@einzweichschein You're F2P & only use 3 star servants? I'm also F2P & have played for a little more than 2 years but have like at least 40 4 stars & around 27 five stars now. (five of them somehow getting to NP2) So you've had to be getting some 5 star servants right? We just got the free 5 star ticket. Plus all the welfares. & while I have had really good luck I get god awful luck sometimes as well. I got super orion europa & a 5 star spook ozy during atlantis but havent gotten jack shit since then, its been over half a year since then & I've only gotten a spook Xuansang & nobody I've wanted since so I know the pain of bad luck well. Struck out the most on saner astolfo TWICE with almost 500 quartz. & struck out during Olympus. Feels bad man lol

Yep, I'm a F2P. Just started playing last year because of Babylonia anime and Fujimaru.
I'm a normie who know nothing of mobile game and play only for the story and characters. So, I'm not that keen on rolling except when I REALLY like the character on the banner.
So far, I only have this urge with Merlin and Arthur. Got Merlin in last sunday banner, but failed to get Arthur in his last rate up and got Ozy instead in their shared banner.
I've just been playing for over half a year, and during that time I relied to 3* servants most of the time because find them more useful than my 4* ones (Rama, Lanling, Martha Rider, and Herc are my most used 4*). I got a number of 4* and ten 5*, but despite that, DPS-wise, my 3* deals more damage than some NP1 5* I have, except for Eresh and JAlter. I planned to raise some of 4* and 5* levels first before I use them, therefore I tend to use 3* servants even though I have 4* and 5* servants.
As for 5* tickets, I used it for Waver. Because for me, supports > DPS. Now I have 3 of 4 super supports, I may try for the fourth one, but Himiko, Van Gogh, Douman, and Tsuna's banner are near.
@@einzweichschein Yeah I end up rolling for waifu purposes, like I know I shoukdve picked waver but I picked bradamante on the ticket. I'm surprised to hear your 3 stars are outperforming your gold servants! I know they can get the job done dont get me wrong but I guess because I got an NP2 mordred in the beginning of me playing I ended up sticking to higher rarity servants. The only thing I've had bad luck with is the best supports. My best support is osakabehime & 4 stars like lakshimi bai. I just struck out on the lady Reines banner. Sucks because I've had amazing luck with DPS servants but bad luck with supports. I'm going to get castoria to take advantage of my NP2 space ishtar though, I cant wait for that banner to come up
Funny Ozymandias spooked both of us though. So you're playing on JP & NA? yeah this is the inky gacha game I play as well, normally i stick to console gaming. The only time I pay anything is for the guarenteed gacha. But every time I've done that I get a duplicate 5 star. This happened to me the first time I did it when I only had 1 out of 50 of the 5 star servants. Yet somehow I got a duplicate semiramis!
My best DPS servants are super orion (obviously) but besides his insane damage, my okita & scatach, illya for her single target NP, spishtar, europa actually hits pretty hard. Oh & my level 100 10/10/10 Kama! Brutal crits on some of my golden servants. Np2 caster nero for farming. What 3 stars do you main? The only 3 star I trailed was kiyohime to level 80. I know Cu is a beast of course

My 3* outperform the 4* and 5* because they're NP5, especially the Assassins in my case.
In contrast to you, I've got good luck with support servants. I have Skadi when I started. I rolled on her banner while trying the game rolling system even though I knew nothing of her. Then I pulled Asclepius, a story locked servant who's considered as super healer in CBC banner If I'm not mistaken. Next with the SSR ticket, I now have Waver. And last, I pulled Merlin last sunday, NP2-ed him at that while trying to MLB bronze CE for the lulz.
Before having them, my main support was Hans, he was bond 10 now and took a backseat for other supports.
Tbh, I don't think it's a spook. Because my Ozymandias came when I rolled in his and Arthur double banner, he's on rate up there.
And, I play in NA server, I knew nothing of moon runes and play because of the story. I don't think I can enjoy FGO if I play it on JP server. Too troublesome. Www
In my case, the only mobile game I play was a dating game, Mystic Messenger, then this. Lmao
What a contrast. I'm such a normie in gaming that many things are lost on me-----So, I'm still learning.
For 3* I main, I have Bedivere NP4 for Saber class. Euryale and Robin for Archers (mainly Robin nowadays, since his damage is more consistent with his own buff), Alexander (AoE) and Ushiwaka (ST) as well for Rider, Cu for ST Lancer, then Kojiro (ST) and Fuuma (AoE) for Assassin. Other than Bedivere, the rest are NP5.
For Caster, I usually put Hans and Asclepius, sometimes Paracelsus. Tho nowadays, I lean more to the 5*. Skadi and Waver. And now that I have Merlin, he'll join them. I'd like to try abusing their double system!
Berserker, tho. I rarely use them. I may put Herc as my anchor, but it rarely ever goes to him in a fight that I bond 10-ed him merely by having him in my backline.
I think that while it looks better in Extella, it still looks pretty good in FGO. Now if only Photon Ray could be closer to how it looks in extella

Not gonna happen, teardrop photon ray is different np. Normal photon ray is just one of her heavy attack in extella, (became "sword of the war god" Active skill in extella link)
Note: "sword of the war god" Is same as "sword of promised victory" As in Excalibur. Or "The Star of Creation that Split Heaven and Earth" As in enuma elish
To be fair fgo is a 2d maybe 2.5d mobile game while extella link is a full 3d console/ pc game
as mentioned by Yukio , it cannot be used normally in FGO , it requires a strong connection with Titan Altera in which Moon Altera has a direct connection with , while Earth/FGO Altera was only able to use it during Solomon Temple because they weren't on Earth and were closer to the moon than usual.

Buster and Arts are now infinitely better for numerous reasons, mainly due to its easy accessibility.
Hopefully we get an explanation in 6.5 on why Charlemagne looks eerily similar Gudao

It's not, it is just a coincedance, Charlemagne came out before Grand Order, so if anything. It should explained as to why Gudao looks like Charlemagne, but other than that. No, it was pure coincedance

And Reminder that Gudao is supposed to look like male Rin (while Gudako looks like female Shirou), so there really is no link with Charlie.

Extra and Extella characters in general are much much stronger than their counterpart in FGO because they aren't restraint by a mediocre master. They have Hakunos who's the sovereign of the moon as their master instead.
