Don't you ever go drive our vehicles without a FOB with you. Digital key is a work in progress everyone. It is very inconsistent and I would never rely on it.
With the digital key I can drive the car without the actual key?
If you car does not come with the digital key option can you bring it to the dealer to install it? Is it a extra hardward that needs to be installed or just software?
My app tells me to set up Biometrics on my phone. That is not an option in my settings?? iPhone 14.
Does the 2023 Lexus IS 350 have this digital key?
My digital key won’t allow me to start my car, unlock/lock the doors unless I do it on the app, any ideas why? Also when I do this process, it doesn’t prompt me to put my key fob near the start button
Hi Emma, you will need to make sure that your vehicle has the Digital Key option. Your vehicle will have Remote Start capabilities but Digital Key is a stand-alone feature on select RX. If you do not see the Digital Key button underneath the Remote Start on the app, your vehicle most likely does not have Digital Key.
We have the 2024 ultra luxury ES350. I am not seeing digital remote on the app
Hi, I don't have the little bluetooth icons on my app, I have a 2023 RX350 Luxury with connected services and I followed the steps and it seems to never connect to my vehicle, my samsung has connected for calls and android play, I do get unlock and lock and remote start
but I still need a key, any advice would be appreciated Thank you
Hello! Do you have the window sticker for your vehicle? It will tell you if you have the Digital Key equipped with your RX.

Digital key(Requires Remote Connect Subscription 3yr Trial Incld) 4G Network Dependent.
I have even already worked a deal with AT&T ($15 a month unlimited) that it kicks in after the One Free Month ends.
So after all that I believe I have it.
What do I do next please & thank you

My only dislike is that it won't let me unlock or lock the RX once I start it with my phone.
We appreciate the feedback! The purpose of the remote start feature is primarily for climate control and by design, the vehicle cannot be unlocked while the engine is on for security reasons.
When I try to download the digital key I keep getting an error message that says Bluetooth connection interrupted.

I am wondering how safe is it to download a digital key. If you lose your phone,can't someone steal your car?
Hi Suzanne, that is a great question. The digital key works similar to a standard key fob- if a traditional key fob was lost, that could be a possible security issue as well.
A smartphone has more security than your key fob. Smartphone has face, fingerprint, and/or passcode verification to unlock. Additionally, the Lexus app for iPhone has Face ID to login to the app to use digital key. You can weigh the risks and benefits for yourself.
My app does not show a digital key option. 😢
Hey G Man, it is possible that your vehicle does not have the digital key equipped. I would double check the window sticker of your vehicle to see if you have the Digital Key option.
Can the digital key be installed after you pick up the vehicle?
@@ramkaran1 Yes, the digital key can be installed at any time as long as the vehicle has the digital key option. It is all done through the Lexus App.
@@lexuseasternarea I found out finally that my RX was not equipped with digital Key so I am stuck with the hassle of one key for me and wifey
