That is Jay Fair's system. Jay was a helluva good eagle lake guide. He pioneered that line combination system for trolling tight to the tules on the Gallatin side of Eagle Lake.

@williamrogers4556 the fly line also doesn't straighten out like mono, it kind of snakes behind the boat mirroring the travel of the boat. Jay Fair used that to be able to troll extremely tight to the tules.
