I honestly like his bad ending most because it’s so dark and twisted. All other boys troubled and depressed but not at the level of Mink literally witnessing his clan being wiped out. So when them get bad ending it feels somewhat unfair. But with Mink is like “yeah I can see him falling over the edge and loosing it completely”.
I'm not very fond of Mink but god damn I love this song. I also like this bad ending in re:connect because instinct Aoba is pretty much Shiroba and he's into some awesome stuff.
Mink is one of my fave characters~! True, his route was chaotic and caused much trauma to Aoba. But he had his reasons; only focused on revenge and getting back at Toue for ruining his life and killing his family and friends. He was a jackass so Aoba wouldn't like him and he wouldn't get attached to them and vice versa. After all, he wanted to die right after he completed his goal. But then Aoba followed him even after everyone else had moved on. He even redeemed himself in Reconnect, being gentle and apologetic for what he had done and even giving life a second chance. Ah, his route made me tear up. I love that Native American bara sweetie :)
I love all of Mink's routes. And I especially love him in RE:connect. People should know that DMMD Mink isn't actually him, its more of a Mink crazed by revenge. Yeah, I love Mink, and cinnamon. How can you hate him, I mean I know he beheaded Aoba, but I love that part of him as well. Lol I'm would not be safe in a relationship.
He's not craced by revenge, he was acting all the time, that's why Mink is a GREAT character, I love him, but even if I didn't I would appreciate him a lot because his masquerade not only fool the other characters(only Aoba figured something near the end), but even players!! There were a lot of hints to see that he was acting, but most of the people didn't notice those!! If a character can fool a player/reader/spectator while giving him/her hints of his true nature... that character is a GREAT character
What people also should know that the English Patch for Re:Connect is wrongly translated on Mink's route. He is made way more offending and hostile than he actually is, because the team that translated the game hated Mink and wanted people to hate him as well.
Wiikeri No, simply if they made him talks like he does in japanese he wouldn't have sounded as bad as he wanted to sound, japanese is more "strict" than english for some words, that if are translated without adaptation that would sound different, Aoba, Noiz and Clear also were alterated, the only one who is actually the same is Kojaku XD I can tell you this 'cause somehow my language is the same, I can translate japanese literally and it would sound the same, but translating english literally would sound A LOT MORE offensive, there are words that english language use that sound a lot less offensive, even if they are, like "jerk" for example, if you translate that word and use it in japanese or my language is like saying something like "you are a piece of shit who should fuck off" XD So to make Mink sound more challenging and horrible like he sound in japanese they had to make him talk like that, in reconnect that wasn't the case... still is true that the group who translated the game didn't like him, but it was more a tecnical problem, than the character itself, like the fact that in reconnect they hated Virus and Trip 'cause they route was a pain to translate and debug X°°°D

I feel both sympathy and fear for Mink. All of the cgs were just really painful to watch. I do understand how he might have been fucked-up inside, but that's no excuse to beat the shit out of poor Aoba.
I like better the bad ending of Mink. In the good ending Aoba's personality was like... I don't know, he grovels for a little bit of Mink's love and attention, following him everywhere like a puppy. Didn't like it at all. And in the bad end... There was sly. And I totally love him.
tbh Mink's route was the most.... exciting out of all routes, it felt as if I was watching an action movie, it was pretty badass and intense :) loved this route, (although my favorite was Noiz's :P)

Funniest part about DRAMAtical Murder is that all of the routes are unhealthy (even the good routes) when *really* considered. Doesn't make it any less hot but good god damn I hope nobody founds their relationships on these fantasies.

Mink really surprised me as a character, I honestly never saw a native character in manga/anime before him. People hate Mink but when you think about it, he's the only one that tried to help Aoba on a psychological level before the tower (in a harsh manner, yeah... XD) while the others simply profited from his scrap and had a happy ending.

~Spoiler Alert~ Mink is my fave guy from both the games due to his unique character development. I do not agree with domestic violence nor rape and I understand why people don't like him for that fact but he had let himself get so lot in his revenge that he hurt others not because he wanted to, more like to repel any type of attachment they could have to him since his goal was to kill Toue and die in the process. So the violence was indeed heavily related to both plot and character development (he used it to lure out Sly too). In the second game, we see the real Mink even though at first he does ignore Aoba's presence, most likely because he never thought anyone would manage to get close to him and break the barrier he had created from others. And also my other reason, he's damn hot. But this is my opinion.

I finished Mink's route some days ago (which was my first completed route of DMMd) and I got both endings.I first got the bad ending (which has this song) and I can understand why I really despised Mink at that point. The beginning of his route was terrible and I hated the fact he hit him and harassed him all the time. As the route went on though, I realized he was not that bad person, and his good ending was really, really lovely. I wish Mink had said some last words before the game ended, but it was still really good! That game is magnificent, and all good endings are magnificent. Mink may not be my favourite but I enjoy the game, and that's what really matters to me (of course, I exclude the sex scenes)
in re:connect it continues after aoba found him and hes actually really sweet in the re:connect route ^^ and yeah I didnt like him until i played his route in re:connect and i stopped hating his guts. Hes still not my favorite character but at least i dont hate him now and i actually really enjoyed his reconnect route.

+kuroshiete amvs I love him as a character in the story... He basically ended up becoming just like Toue the person he was hunting after. He convinced himself he was already dead and that was all he could bring with him... He reflects the decision to give in and give up into the destructive tendencies something that Aboa is struggling with . I love his character for this since none of the other character have given in like Mink did- so it makes Mink the perfect example. It does not excuse what Mink did no but his role in the story isn't quite as simple as people seem to think it is ( at least in my mind ).
He misthought that Aoba's other self is also a part of his characteristic, that Sly boy. Since Sly showed up when Aoba was nearly raped by his gang, and once again in the club. Mink kept abusing Aoba to take control of him, believing Aoba just doesn't show his Sly side. But then when Aoba lost his consciousness after the second time being....... u know. And Sly took his place, Mink awares that they are two seperate personalities and Aoba has nothing to do with Sly's action. Mink considerd what he done to Aoba, that's when he sitting next to Aoba's bed. So I believe Mink's not that much a bad person
I don't know why everyone hating Mink. He a great character to the game, when people first see him they immediately hate on him by the way he looks and acts. Yes he's a hard ass and uses Aoba for his own needs. Just try to think about what he went through and how that would make you feel. Mink is a tough guy on the outside but a real softy on the inside.

oh no I don't hate him :) I don't dislike him either, like I said, he just came out last on my list out of the other 3, his route was really violent on DMM with lots of beating, but still, nonetheless I still like his route, since it's like watching an action movie lol and I do know about bara xD and I don't mind it ;)

Mink is my third favourite game and anime/manga character (since visual novel is like those two smashed together). and I have a looot of favourite characters. Mink really surprised me as a character, I honestly never saw a native character in manga/anime before him. I didn't think I would like him before I actually played the game, but the moment I saw those boots than him sitting... I WAS BOUGHT

Mink is my fave guy from both the games due to his unique character development. I do not agree with domestic violence nor rape and I understand why people don't like him for that fact but he had let himself get so lot in his revenge that he hurt others not because he wanted to, more like to repel any type of attachment they could have to him since his goal was to kill Toue and die in the process. So the violence was indeed heavily related to both plot and character development (he used it to lure out Sly too). In the second game, we see the real Mink even though at first he does ignore Aoba's presence, most likely because he never thought anyone would manage to get close to him and break the barrier he had created from others.
And also my other reason, he's damn hot.
But this is my opinion.

i do NOT hate mink as a character because he is such a great one, what a hate about him is his route?? like all of dmmd routes are so... questionable??? But Mink's just,,,, idk i hated go trough it. Seeing Aoba like that and then run away for him... Even in Re:connect i was uncomfortable (even though it has a good mood and the ending is so good, i liked way more than the normal dmmd route). But it is just like Trip and Virus, they ARE good characters, but i hate them so much because they made Aoba suffer in such pain. Their route in Re:connect was horrendous. I love good characters like that but i also hate them because they're such horrible people (even though Mink had his reasons to be "heartless" like that) Idk if u can understand me, but as a love interest i do not like Mink.

In some point I thought: "I must play this route because I want to get all the endings and get Ren's route, I must play this route because I want to get all the endings and get Ren's route, I must...". Well, after Mink's route I played Koujaku's route so it was fine to leave behind those moments.
I felt so terrible in the moment when Aoba thought that Mink wanted to k1ll him and he thought about run away, and then well, it was painful to read all the things that happened in GLITTER. In the good ending my face all the time was 🤨 And I feel some weird when I listen the CD Dramas.

What does it say about me that this, Clear's, and Koujaku's bad ending songs are my favorite? Also, I liked all the bad ends in their own twisted way.

I finished Mink's route some days ago (which was my first completed route of DMMd) and I got both endings.I first got the bad ending (which has this song) and I can understand why I really despised Mink at that point. The beginning of his route was terrible and I hated the fact he hit him and harassed him all the time. As the route went on though, I realized he was not that bad person, and his good ending was really, really lovely. I wish Mink had said some last words before the game ended, but it was still really good! That game is magnificent, and all good endings are magnificent. Mink may not be my favourite but I enjoy the game, and that's what really matters to me (of course, I exclude the sex scenes)
in re:connect it continues after aoba found him and hes actually really sweet in the re:connect route ^^ and yeah I didnt like him until i played his route in re:connect and i stopped hating his guts. Hes still not my favorite character but at least i dont hate him now and i actually really enjoyed his reconnect route.

+kuroshiete amvs I love him as a character in the story... He basically ended up becoming just like Toue the person he was hunting after. He convinced himself he was already dead and that was all he could bring with him... He reflects the decision to give in and give up into the destructive tendencies something that Aboa is struggling with . I love his character for this since none of the other character have given in like Mink did- so it makes Mink the perfect example. It does not excuse what Mink did no but his role in the story isn't quite as simple as people seem to think it is ( at least in my mind ).

He misthought that Aoba's other self is also a part of his characteristic, that Sly boy. Since Sly showed up when Aoba was nearly raped by his gang, and once again in the club. Mink kept abusing Aoba to take control of him, believing Aoba just doesn't show his Sly side. But then when Aoba lost his consciousness after the second time being....... u know. And Sly took his place, Mink awares that they are two seperate personalities and Aoba has nothing to do with Sly's action. Mink considerd what he done to Aoba, that's when he sitting next to Aoba's bed. So I believe Mink's not that much a bad person

I don't know why everyone hating Mink. He a great character to the game, when people first see him they immediately hate on him by the way he looks and acts. Yes he's a hard ass and uses Aoba for his own needs. Just try to think about what he went through and how that would make you feel. Mink is a tough guy on the outside but a real softy on the inside.
