It’s crazy how great the A9 was. Compared to the iPhone 6 with A8, which struggles on iOS 12, I can easily use my old 6s on iOS 15. After a battery replacement it ran like it did at launch. It’s about time to let it rest, but where it’s at now is great.
I wonder if the iPad mini 4 with the A8 chip that runs iOS 15 is significantly slower than a 6s. I know the 6 is super slow compared to the 6s cause I have both of those.

I didn't realize how lucky I was getting my 6s in 2016 (I wanted the headphone jack for as long as possible when the 7 was announced). I pre-ordered the 14 pro on Friday, and I'm hoping to get at least another 6 or 7 years out of that phone as well. I'll be sad to no longer use my 6s (or 3D Touch my beloved), but it was great while it lasted!
I'm still using it at this moment. Bought a cheap 5200mAh battery case which solved pretty much the only big issue it had. I got it with 99% battery life and now one year later it has 95%. For casual use it's more than enough.
@@davehugstrees It's still gonna be usable for quite a while. It's time to start looking for the upgrade, though. I was supposed to buy myself a new phone (going back to Android, miss the customization...), but the phone prices have gone up, so it will still suffice.

The iPhone 6s really is an incredibly good device to collect. It's the last iPhone before iPhones seemed to diverge into an alternate universe. The last one with a real, physical home button, headphone jack, 3D touch, and a fingerprint reader so absurdly fast that it became a meme. And on top of all of that, its got a build so thin it's like a trading card with a sort of timelessness where it always looks high quality.
I agree. I have a mint 6S which I used in a case with screen protector for 2 years from 2016 and put it in its box for the last 4 years. I brought it out 2 weeks ago, updated it to iOS 15.7, and it runs everything like a champ. I would have been satisfied to have just used it for the full 6 years!
I've bought my iPhone 6s Plus back in June 2016 when it was still in iOS 9 and used it all the way through October 2021. Used all 7 major iOS versions it supported and they were all performing surprisingly great. Those 5+ years I've had with that phone just made me appreciate Apple and its incrediblemperforming products even more. I've only used 3 iPhones (4, 6s Plus, 13 Pro Max) but I can confidently say that the 6s generation was the greatest.
The 6S really is the definition of success. I remember back then no phone really came near its performance. So much so that we bought a new one for my dad in 2019, 4 years after it has been released. Just replaced its battery recently and hopefully it will still continue to stay alive and kicking for a couple more years up until the last major app supports iOS 15. A legend of a phone this is.
The segment on 3D Touch unlocked some core memories I completely forgot about. I remember being so amazed when it was announced, and so disappointed when they killed it off. I used peek and pop so often back then, haven’t thought about it in a few years until I saw this video
I gotta say when I got the iPhone 6s it changed my life 3D Touch felt very different to me and Touch ID was the first experience for me with the home button, and the click sound I never got sick and tired of it. The A9 chip in it was pretty good and I was really impressed with it. I like the camera and it helped me start making videos and taking pictures were great, iPhone 6s is amazing smartphone Apple ever made and I won’t forget about it.
I cannot express how sad I was to hear that apple has discontinued 3D Touch. It was so underused. It was a bit ruff to get used to it, but it makes all the difference to use it, and I still miss it to this day. The long hold in nice but it’s just not the same felling
100% agree, I currently have the iPhone XS (Last iPhone with 3D Touch) and I’m currently use it (3D touch) to edit this comment. Sadly I’m upgrading my phone in a few days so I will no longer have this awesome feature. It is going to take some time to get used to not having it anymore🙃
My wife still keeps her iPhone 6S and I still have mine. I have been through 3 iPhone 7's, my iPhone 12 is on it's last leg (my fault, 5-story drop doing timelapse and it still works even shattered) and we are about to buy iPhone 14's. But the 6S has been the most reliable phone we have ever owned.
I got this phone 2 days after it was released back in September of 2015. 7 years later, I’m still using it as a daily driver. I did not think I would still be using it, but this phone has been tremendously reliable. I am running iOS 13.6, and most apps are still receiving updates. It’s not the fastest anymore, but it still packs plenty of speed (and surprisingly very few instances of stuttering/lag) for opening up apps, playing games, and watching videos. I’ve replaced the battery 2 times, and will probably replace it a third time. This phone to this day still feels fluid and has been bulletproof 7 years down the line.
This is so nostalgic because the 6s was my first ever iPhone when starting hs. I remember my parents trying to getting me the best. A lot of great memories. Sadly the battery health got worse and it no longer turns on so I upgraded to a 13 pro max last year
I had an iPhone 6s for 7 years, got it for my sophomore year of highschool. I had an iPhone 4s before that and you can understand why I had to upgrade. I just upgraded to a 13 pro since the 6s felt its age. I replaced the battery twice. Once in 2018 and once in 2021. That phone served me very well and I am looking to keep my 13 pro for either just as long or until they introduce type c to iPhones. The 6s was the last headphone Jack iPhone and one of the best
I’m going to get another iPhone 6s Plus this year because it’s affordable nowadays and is a timeless beauty. Not going to get the overpriced iPhone 14 crap. Seen the 6s Plus going for under $200 on eBay which is a huge steal but some other sites listed it at under $300 either way the iPhone 6s Plus is affordable and will work amazingly well in the year 2041 and beyond. I’m definitely not going to pay more than $1K on an phone that’s just ridiculous.
Thanks for telling me when they'll likely stop posting security updates for my iPhone 6S. Apparently, I can use my 6S safely for a couple more years. That's great news.
The only thing I’m amazed about is how much love and care they’ve been giving it to now no matter how old it is who knew that an A9 chip set can have so much hidden potential in it that we never knew it has from the start that made it continue to fight to the top to catch up with all the other newer iPhones and chip sets with them
For the few months I've owned a 6s, it suprises me how premium the phone still feels in 2022. I'm upgrading to the 11 in 5 days but main reason for that was the end of features updates and the limited 16 gb (6gb in reality).
I’m upgrading from a iPhone 6s to the 14 pro now. I had this phone when it came out. Honestly I did the job so couldn’t be bothered upgrading. Also the fact that software updates were always happening. Only changed the battery 🔋. Rip iPhone 6s Plus.
Still using 6s Plus today. Change the charging port once or two, the screen twice, and the battery 4 times. The camera and cellular signal receiver (I assume PA IC) started acting up last year. But still works. Every night I play PUBG Mobile too! A lot of my friends switched to an iPhone. Because they do not need to buy a new phone every year just to experience new features. Also, they were impressed with their iPhone, which is built like a tank. I am also still using Nokia 5.1 Plus to complement my daily needs. I have worked at Independent Repair Shop for a decade, I know what I need.
Its cool to hear about your experience with your phone and keeping it for so long. But saying buying an iphone means you dont miss out on features if you dont buy a new one every year is kinda ridiculous. The whole launch of new iphones is just “heres the new features, buy it if you want ‘em”.
I remember when this phone was brand new. And I wanted one so badly, I really wanted a rose gold iPhone 6s. This was by far one of the best iPhones apple has made and I will forever miss it and the memories from 2015 and 2016. I ended up getting an iPhone 7 in 2016, but it was missing the headphone jack. Which at the time wasn't much of a big deal, I just needed the adapter
Using the 6s now, since my iPhone 11 PM died after updating to iOS 16. Besides the battery that is going down faster than it charges (1 hour SOT on 100%). It does a great job for what it was. It isn’t even that slow, but you can notice it’s age while running through multiple apps.
I used my iPhone 6S all the way up until last year (November 2021). The inability to plug the charging cord into the iPhone, due to what I believed was a worn-out connection on the phone’s end (I tried different cords to no avail), finally brought my time with the 6S to an end. I initially got an iPhone 13 in November 2021, but upgraded to the 13 Pro Max 5 months later, in March 2022. I initially thought the Pro Max models felt too large coming directly from the 6S (my local AT&T store didn’t sell the 13 Pro, and I needed an upgrade then and there), but changed my mind after some time with the base 13.
8:13 The iPhone 7 brought A LOT. - a screen that supports P3 - stereo speakers - dual cameras on the + model, also ois on every model’s back camera - water resistance - the new home button Also the moving of the antennas, the new black color and new camera bump made it look very different from the iPhone 6s
As of today my phone is an IPhone 6S, bought it in November 2016, 6 years and 2 months and still works perfectly. Just had to replace the battery last summer 2021. There's nothing wrong with it, I'll use it until it doesn't work anymore.
I really miss 3D touch. I used it daily. My favorite thing was the ability to triage emails in the mail app I also liked the ability to press and hold on the left side to access multi tasking. RIP 3D touch.
my first iphone was the 4, then the 5s, then the 6s, and now the 13 mini. i absolutely love 3D touch and i miss it everyday but what i loved even more was the size, hence why i got the 13 mini. my 6s was and still is pretty zippy. obviously, compared to the 13 mini, it is quite a bit slow but it isn't that far off. the only thing that would make me upgrade is software support and if they make mini iphones again in the future but other than that i will be using this phone for as long as i can and just replace the battery every couple years. great video as always!!
I have a 6s on iOS 11.3.1 still and I’m debating as to whether I should update it. I wish it was able to get 16, though. It really could if Apple wanted it to. I also own an iPhone SE 1st gen and IPad 5th gen and the A9 is really an incredible chipset. I remember back in 2017 when the 6s was still beating android flagships in speed tests
Don’t update it, iOS 11 is quite rare nowadays, especially on 6s. Rather buy yourself second 6s that you can update. They’re fairly affordable, going around $70 for used.
@@krisaatv I'd second the opinion, getting any device on iOS 11 nowadays is genuinely extremely rare and the cost of a second 6s or even slightly newer devices like the original se and 7 is extremely affordable on the used market.
I moved to Apple a couple of years ago and what I’ve noticed is that they have crazy longevity. Like the only deteriorating element is the battery, and once you get that replaced, the phone works as good as it did on the first day
Yep, just retired my 6s for a 14 Pro. Looking for uses for the 6s now; researching if I can turn it into a universal remote with an external IR transmitter
I just found your chanell and I subscribed! I am getting my first iphone next week! An iphone 11, not the newest but it works. I also got a macbook from 2009 that still works.
Enjoyed all the useful trivia you mentioned about this phone. I definitely got a few for good conversations. Anyway here in the Philippines, I know for a fact that many people including me still use the iPhone 6s as a so-called "back up phone". Its main purpose now is for texting and calling only. We will usually have it alongside our more expensive "main phone".
I purchased the 6S new from AT&T in 2015. I sold it last last year after getting a used XS max. I liked the higher stability of the XS max & refused to jailbreak it since stability issues issued after jail breaking previous iPhones. I paid $250 for the XS max since it needed to be refurbished, replacement rear & front glass as well as new battery which ended up costing $330 like new after getting fixed. Battery health lets the phone go an entire day without needing to be plugged in. It was a happy & sad swap since the iPhone 6s was a phone I absolutely adored & it wasn’t costing me much money to maintain. Ended up doing a solid to the person I sold my 6s to since I replaced the battery a month prior to letting it go. I really liked the phone cause it took a little time to become accustomed to no longer having a home button but after getting used to not having a home button & using swipe jesters now but yes, the 6s was a flag ship phone. I was saddened apple announce the stopping of updates which encouraged me to get the XS max. Sometimes I question my upgrade cause I told myself after purchasing the 6s that I was going to use it till it stopped getting updates but the fact that I replaced it with an XS max 256 gb for approximately $250 before refurbishing it for $110 prior to selling my 32 gb 6S for $250 with 2 morphie battery cases. I was impressed at the waterproofing on the XS max after getting it refurbished but I do miss the convenience size of the 6S since games were easier on the 6S due to its compact size. But I was impressed how long they supporting the 6S & hopefully they will do the same with the XS. I’m guessing they will cause the cost on new iPhones are redonkulous!
I remember getting a hand me down from my sister with a rose gold 6s when I just turned 12 in 2017. I used that phone for a good 2-3 years, and it was handling everything exceptionally well.
It's still a very usable phone. Although it doesn't receive any more new functions or desgin through major iOS updates, it still gets security patches from minor updates mid-2023. That's enough for me to want to keep it running for a little longer for the reasons you mention in the video.
I‘m not kidding this is the first sponsored sketch I actually found funny! Also the iPhone 6s will forever remain the Greatest of all time in my opinion. It is the definition of a „sleeper“ (old design but great internals and features). For me The 6s remained usable until iOS 13. that’s when I noticed major performance decreases which made me switch to the slightly newer but also „sleeper“ status iPhone XS. Love your videos btw keep it up :)
Not sure about calling the xs a "sleeper" phone as its better than the x, but not nearly as noticeably as the 6s vs 6. Tho the subject of sleeper phones is quite a fun one and the current gen se will probably go down as the most impressive of them all considering just how much faster than the 8 it is.
This is what samsung knights will never understand. Theyre focused on recording in 8k that they will rarely ever use and using a stylus. iPhone users i observe are focused on longevity.
@@donewiththeworld I bought my iPhone 6s 3 years ago thinking it will die that year I just wanted to see how it is to use an iPhone and now I’m extremely happy I didn’t buy an 6
ive had an iPhone 6s for about half a year now and I still love it. I originally got it as a secondary phone because I use to do DoorDash and Uber Eats, but I slowly started using it more and more. About a month ago it became my main phone, I gave my mom my old Android, which was a 2022 model. She loves her new phone, I love my "new" phone. I plan on upgrading to the 15 Pro after boot camp later this year maybe start of next year.
The 6S will be my backup phone for a long time, since it just got a new screen and battery installed👍 works fine on iOS 15 but you can definitely feel it’s age. Especially when listening to music on air pods, if I then try to open another app iMessage, Messenger etc. The music cuts out and the whole phone lags, but if the phone handles one action inside one app at a time then it works fine.
This phone saved me from my 4s. I was daily driving an 8gb one when this came out. I begged my mom to upgrade us. Her iPhone 5 still had trade in value lol. So because of that I've still got my 4s stashed away somewhere. God, I didn't realize how good I had it with a headphone jack until I got an iPhone 7 and it was gone. But now I've got one back. Thanks Sony, very cool.
The 6s is incredible for kids and elders. I gave mine to my grandma and she is on the moon. Going from a flip flop to an iPhone 6s is like discovering the future for her
I had my 6S for 4 years until it was stolen. I replaced it with an SE2, and now I have a 13 Pro. I agree the 6S was one of the greatest phones of all time. I held onto it as long as I could for that headphone jack, but now you can get Raycon-style Bluetooth earbuds for $20 lol.
I've had my 6s since 2016 and this thing is still practically usable in 2023 with your typical day to day apps. But soon i'll be retiring this phone as my daily driver once i get the iPhone 15 in the coming weeks.
This was probably my favorite phone. I remember when the 7 came out, and I was deciding between them. Luckily I got the 6s. Felt great, looked great, and still had the headphone jack, which I used a lot for when I was running, or on a flight. Miss these days of iPhone and wish I could go back.
The 6s isn't dead yet. Been using my 6s since 2016, until last year I bought a new condition 6s to upgrade from 64GB to 128GB. And I'm still rocking the headphone jack!
guys my iphone 6s s is dead from last night and someone told me he is dead cause i need to downald a new update on him and i dont now if i can do that or no plz guys help me i want my phone back i had him years ago plzz guys help
I'm still using my 6s plus that I bought in 2015, I've changed the battery twice and had to replace the camera. No more support for the latest ios, a shame. But as long as security updates keep rolling, it's no problem. It's starting to be due to a third battery change, but perhaps I should just upgrade to an iphone 11 or something, but then again the iphone 6s plus does everything I need it to do. Plus touch id is great, I'd argue it's better than face id. I wonder if apple will ever come back with touch id, maybe an in-screen reader like on the android phones. The 6S truly was a spectacular phone (and still is), such a big upgrade over the regular iphone 6.
The iPhone 6 Plus kept me with Apple's iPhones. I switched to the original iPhone as soon as it came out. But as the years passed and other phones kept getting larger, I was ready to switch. Thankfully the 6 Plus was announced.
I have an iPhone 6s (64gb) that I bought in spring of 2016. It’s still running great, but I have changed the battery twice (apparently, it’s affordable here compared to the US, only costing 50 EUR for an Apple battery, including installation by a professional). I did that about a year ago and the battery health is still at 100%. it was actually known that the older batteries weren’t so great, so Apple even offered a free change from the phone’s original battery if you sent it in (some conditions applied). I just went to a local phone repair shop in my town and had it done overnight. Anyway, my 6s is still running excellent and, if Apple would have supported it even longer, I’d keep using it even longer. I love it. There is some lag like you’ve mentioned, but it’s really not bad at all. It runs smooth, etc. All the apps I use run great on it. It really is great and I would honestly prefere not to have to retire it - it’s not broken. (Mine is also in excellent optical condition as well - the screen is unscratched, as it’s had panzer glasses and protective covers on since the day I unboxed it). I prefere this design to the others. It’s nice, it is comfortable in my hand (a not thrilled with the iPhone 14, which a friend has and I’ve spent a lot of time with setting it up, showing him how to use it, because he’d always had Androids). I like the white stripes on it. I just think it looks great all around.
My 6s is well and alive. And will probably be for 2-3 years more, when newer app versions will eventually no longer be supported by the device. It's my main device, never had any real issues with it apart from the degraded battery which I will replace. Otherwise it is a lag free experience, everything still feels smooth and I'm running iOS 15.7. It has never frustrated me. In comparison, my galaxy s5 started giving me trouble during the 2nd year of ownership. Apps started crashing, it was lagging everywhere, even on simple apps. Hell I once woke up and realised I missed an appointment, because the alarm app had crashed. I even used to format it once a year, but it never worked.
This take is so on the money. I destroyed my 6 (😢) and replaced it with a 6s - I was truly shocked by the improvement. The s really was what the 6 should have been originally. I actually consider the 6s to be peak iPhone - solid design, great size screen, fast, biometrics, impressive camera, HEADPHONE JACK. I fully embraced phone photography with my 6s and had several years of creative joy with it. I held on as long as I could… before finally upgrading to a 12 mini. The 12 destroyed phone photography for me overnight - I’ve taken close to zero good photos since upgrading. In the years that had passed, the stranglehold of over-processing destroyed the digital lightroom capabilities for me. I truly hate the aesthetic. The most exciting feature on the 14 for me was the ability to take RAW photos - until I realised all those photos would be 48mp. My 6s is still in perfect working order, and there’s only 1 feature that keeps me from using and loving it - the screen is rubbish by modern standards. That’s literally it, I love it in every other way.
What is it with the camera? I have an iPhone 6s and use it to film audition videos i.e. self tapes, when I used my boyfriend’s iPhone 12 I couldn’t believe how bad the video looked. It’s meant to be a better camera yet it looks so much worse
@@Belltogo3000 Not sure about video, but for me the photos suffer from hectic over-processing. I prefer a natural look and applying my own edits. I don't know if an alternative camera app would bypass that or if it's baked into the hardware? Need to investigate that
6s was my first iPhone and have had iPhone ever since, from the 6s, 8 Plus, XR, 11, 12 Pro Max, and now I'm on the 15.. All are great phones and never gave me any problems other than the 12 PM got hot easily and the battery degradation was the quickest out of any iPhone I had at 83% in 1.5 years.
I had a 6s that was 5 years old when I got it and when it died it just turned 7. Being fixed but it is amazing for being good devices for being years old I loved it
I had that phone after long years of Android and absolutely loved it. I had Xs as a gift and completely got invested in 3D touch by now. Since I bought the 14 Pro, 3D touch is a very missed feature and will continue to be ..
This was my first IPhone. I pulled the trigger to switch from Android and never looked back! The IPhone 6s Plus was a great phone. I also liked the feel of it, taking off my case when I would go to bed.
I’m still using the 6S to this day, every opportunity I’ve had to get a new one I only chose to get another 6S. I don’t even know what I’ll do after this cause they kept removing the features I liked, Touch ID, 3D Touch, the size (although I still think the 5 had my favorite size and shape) and of course the headphone jack.

I used my 6s plus till the iPhone X was released. Gave the 6s plus to a family member. Last year i replaced the battery and i was really impressed. Everything runs fluently and the new battery gave this iphone a new life.
I still have the 6S and only because of LTE can still use it while carriers shut down old signals. The battery doesn’t last at all for me and no more iOS updates will push me to finally upgrade. The 14 Pro seems to be the one to get, just wonder 256 or 512 version? Expensive nonetheless.
My iPhone 6s with 128gb and an iPhone 7 battery inside it rocks! TouchID, 3D-touch, Slick and thin, powerful for it's age and the most premium feeling phone of the era makes it the best "outdated" phone today in my opinion

I agree was just thinking this
Totally agree with this. Especially when you could force touch the keyboard to use it as a trackpad… I miss this feature so much.
tbh i barely used it
100% agree, I currently have the iPhone XS (Last iPhone with 3D Touch) and I’m currently use it (3D touch) to edit this comment. Sadly I’m upgrading my phone in a few days so I will no longer have this awesome feature. It is going to take some time to get used to not having it anymore🙃
3D touch genuinely was one of my favourite things when I had my 6s, in fact I kept it on ios 12 because ios 13 nerfed 3D touch in the control centre
It will most likely be a good phone for a couple of more years. I believe only in 2025 it will be completely obsolete
It will be better with jailbreak, I'm using the XR jailbroken on iOS 14.3 for 2 years and this thing is nice
I’m on a jailbroken Xs Max on iOS 13.7 and it feels so damn great
Why not use the latest ios version 15.7?
NOICE lit
This is so nostalgic because the 6s was my first ever iPhone when starting hs. I remember my parents trying to getting me the best. A lot of great memories. Sadly the battery health got worse and it no longer turns on so I upgraded to a 13 pro max last year
You were lucky to get iphone 6s during high school days tbh.
Same here!!!
This is a legendary phone for 7 years of actual software updates. I loved that sponsor lol
Hmm, I remember the iPhone 7 was shipped together with a lightning to 3.5mm adapter in the box
@@mikealvas it was, but I was talking about the headphone port. That adapter lasted almost 2 years for me surprisingly!
Using the 6s now, since my iPhone 11 PM died after updating to iOS 16. Besides the battery that is going down faster than it charges (1 hour SOT on 100%). It does a great job for what it was. It isn’t even that slow, but you can notice it’s age while running through multiple apps.
I still use it and will keep using it until my apps won’t work anymore. It’s still got a lot of life left in it. Love my 6s! ❤️
- a screen that supports P3
- stereo speakers
- dual cameras on the + model, also ois on every model’s back
camera
- water resistance
- the new home button
Also the moving of the antennas, the new black color and new camera bump made it look very different from the iPhone 6s
Wow, such a long video. So much efforts to it. Still using an 6s as my main driver and its still good. Great video.
As of today my phone is an IPhone 6S, bought it in November 2016, 6 years and 2 months and still works perfectly. Just had to replace the battery last summer 2021. There's nothing wrong with it, I'll use it until it doesn't work anymore.
I'm still using a 6s. Didn't realize it was so great
I’m really enjoying these long-form retrospective videos! As a huge SE fan, I can’t wait for the video on the OGSE!
@@krisaatv Was it iOS 11 that had the bug where it turned the letter A into some weird character in everything you typed?
@@SalivatingSteve iOS 11 had numerous issues especially, but I definitely don't remember ever hearing about that happening.
@@krisaatv I'd second the opinion, getting any device on iOS 11 nowadays is genuinely extremely rare and the cost of a second 6s or even slightly newer devices like the original se and 7 is extremely affordable on the used market.
@@SalivatingSteve yep! “i” would autocorrect to “A” with a symbol on ios 11.1
I moved to Apple a couple of years ago and what I’ve noticed is that they have crazy longevity. Like the only deteriorating element is the battery, and once you get that replaced, the phone works as good as it did on the first day
I am using samsung 2014 mobile

Josh, your sponsor ads with Cola are GREAT! Keep them up, I was rolling!
The iPhone 6s is my favorite iPhone
The 6S is a literal beast. I can’t believe it lasted until IOS 15! I just replaced it with the 12 not even 2 weeks ago and I already miss 3D Touch…
Yep, just retired my 6s for a 14 Pro. Looking for uses for the 6s now; researching if I can turn it into a universal remote with an external IR transmitter
Love these types of videos Josh! Keep them coming!
I just found your chanell and I subscribed! I am getting my first iphone next week! An iphone 11, not the newest but it works. I also got a macbook from 2009 that still works.
Watching this on my 6s while having an iPhone 14 Pro Max preordered just feels right
My 6s plus still works fine , just changed the battery
@@h.b.5577 agreed!
It's crazy how good iphones are for years to come I still use an 6s and I plan upgrading only if ios 15 will stop being supported
This is what samsung knights will never understand. Theyre focused on recording in 8k that they will rarely ever use and using a stylus. iPhone users i observe are focused on longevity.
@@donewiththeworld I bought my iPhone 6s 3 years ago thinking it will die that year I just wanted to see how it is to use an iPhone and now I’m extremely happy I didn’t buy an 6
I was on an Samsung s7 that started having a bad charting port and I was looking for a backup I bought this iPhone for very cheap I’m satisfied
@@RideOnTimePH nice hi another 6s user
ive had an iPhone 6s for about half a year now and I still love it.
Going from a flip flop to an iPhone 6s is like discovering the future for her
When people say Apple is planned obsolescence- the 6S is the best example of support for a piece of hardware by any smartphone manufacturer
I had my 6S for 4 years until it was stolen. I replaced it with an SE2, and now I have a 13 Pro. I agree the 6S was one of the greatest phones of all time. I held onto it as long as I could for that headphone jack, but now you can get Raycon-style Bluetooth earbuds for $20 lol.
iPhone 6s was truly a success
Still Rocking with my 6s from 2016 'till
now. No Issues whatsoever🤟
I've had my 6s since 2016 and this thing is still practically usable in 2023 with your typical day to day apps. But soon i'll be retiring this phone as my daily driver once i get the iPhone 15 in the coming weeks.
The Iphone 6s is a legendary lineup. Original ios 9 version is so nostalgic and nice.
This was probably my favorite phone. I remember when the 7 came out, and I was deciding between them. Luckily I got the 6s. Felt great, looked great, and still had the headphone jack, which I used a lot for when I was running, or on a flight. Miss these days of iPhone and wish I could go back.
Watching in my 6s! Still kicking. No plans for throwing yet. I can’t afford newer models 😂
The 6s isn't dead yet. Been using my 6s since 2016, until last year I bought a new condition 6s to upgrade from 64GB to 128GB. And I'm still rocking the headphone jack!

The 6S truly was a spectacular phone (and still is), such a big upgrade over the regular iphone 6.
very insightful vid. good work Josh
The iPhone 6 Plus kept me with Apple's iPhones. I switched to the original iPhone as soon as it came out. But as the years passed and other phones kept getting larger, I was ready to switch. Thankfully the 6 Plus was announced.
Still rocking my 6s as my daily driver.
Always love my already passed iPhone 6s. Imagine it with 7 year support from Apple, amazing. And it has a 3.5mm jack still reliable.
Still using mine!! ✊🏼
Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!
If i didn’t have 16Gb model, i would be happy to use my 6s for many more years. Great phone!
My parents still use the 6S daily. I used mine for 7 years before giving it to my dad. Best phone i ever had.
